Hi Guys i havn't managed to finish many projects recently but thought that i would make a effort this weekend to finish one of them and here we are. This is my version of a British SAS trooper one of what will be a four man patrol. The Next figure i will be doing is Big Ben but i am hoping the Marauder Inc will giving us a GPMG so that i can do him right. I have wanted to do this figure for a while but when Marauder Inc released his M-4 i knew i had to do him. This guy has a wave 4 M-4 that i have adapted for one of my new SEAL customs i am working on but he has borrowed it as his is not ready yet.

Anyway the figure is a Microman figure with a BBI head with added beard (first time i have done this but not the last :D ) He is about 4 inchs tall and as always all the cloth accs have been made by me:

8-O

It's hard to imagine that this figure is 1:18-ish.
The scarf, the map(?) in his pocket.. WOW what a figure. Give us more! :D

8-O WOW! 8-O Simply awesome! The small details all around are really, really nice. I don't know why, but I love the scarf the most!

Nice to see a new custom from you. Excellent work. The only critique I have is the hands- I'd rather have seen the BBI hands (But that's just me).

Thanks man i have to agree that is the one thing that has been bugging me. I have been thinking of making some gloves but am not sure how. I am going to have a look at how to solve the hand problem.

I've actually cast a modded BBI/Microman hand. And it has a cuff too. I'll have to see if I have any left to show you.

That is great work. I dunno why they make the MM trigger hands so big - though it doesn't look so bad to me.

Maybe outline his eyes though - I always think eyes define a character.

Yeah, this rocks seven ways from Sunday. I still think you're taking 1:12 or 1:6-scale stuff and just telling us it's 1:18, though :P

The little details really make this one perfect - the little cell phone/radio pocket just floors me 8O

DAMN Skope!! Your soft goods are simply phenomenal!! I really like the jump pack you hooked X up with. On this piece, I noticed how your 'slimming' down the appearance of your stitched clothes. A big improvement from your Crimson Guard (great fig, just bulky). You should re-do your CG with your new technique.....Your Big Ben looks very slim....even with all those accessories and added pouches8-O ! Great Work!!

Now all he needs is a scoop to remove the Turd-Vipers from the kitty litter........ :whistling:

;-)

I love how you're able to use soft goods on 1:18 figures like this. Makes for an amazing figure.

Thanks Guys am glad you like him! The Microman body really helps to slim the figure down! I had been using Corps and PTE parts before on my figures that added alot of bulk but have been re doing the bodies using other parts and that has helped to slim down my normal figures.

With my microman figures am trying to get as much detail on them as possible hence all the opening pockets and thanks to the superb product from Marauder Inc i have gear to put in them :-D

The vest with all the pockets jam packed with 1:18 goodies really sells this figure. You have to find a way to keep the fabric from fraying like that though. Here it is ok because it fits his rugged worn down relaistic look. In other customs it is going to stand out.
