The Club does, because MOC increases the odds of this:

1 MOC & one for opening.
The Club said early on the price would not be above $25 and even though a lot of people are itching to see if that is the same as saying the price is $25, they haven't changed their tune yet. I think that is exactly what these figures should cost and I commend the Club for seeing that and sticking to it. Obviously to hit that price point some sacrifices had to be made. Unfortunately, the quality of the art was sacrificed to such an extent it has been made basically worthless. There is no MOC display value to this set because of the art. If it was anything but the final art, either the Club wouldn't have shown it or they would be saying as much often and everywhere.
The Club needs to filter the sound to noise ration on the subscription line. I think those who had negative feelings about the figures came off louder than those who liked the figures. Dice is a good example because I remember the overall reaction being negative but the poll pluv ran showed him as one of the most anticipated figures in the line here. So in general I think the figures are not as ill received as perception may have seen. The reaction to the art is much more sincerely and universally negative from what I've seen. If there is any way to up the quality or cut their loses and go another direction, that may save them some subscriptions.
