Wow. This is the first wave where I've seen figures I'm interested in for quite some time.

Think I'll have to pick up a few Techno Vipers and I love the Renegades trooper.

I'm getting every one, multiples of Renegades Trooper, and as many TechnoVipers as I can get my hands on.

No Duke, CC, SE, Destro.... It's like a godsend!

I didn't notice the change to Law 7 order until you pointed it out. What a bummer.

First wave where I like all of the figures and plan on getting them.

I even like Techno-viper which might be my least favorite viper design of all time.

Law & Order and the Trooper were the figures I was most looking forward to. I am not pleased with the changes Hasbro's made, especially after they said there would be no more cost cutting measures being taken. The more subdued color scheme on the Trooper we'd seen up till now looked great, but his new colors just don't look quite right. Law's whole lower body is totally different and is no longer the Police Blue of the prototype. The proto had an entirely new lower body, this is just recolored Snake Eyes legs. I've got nothing against those legs, but they're not what we've been shown, even at NYCC. Then there's the missing accessories. Trooper lost his shield, but that's no big deal. Law though lost his very cool alternate head. Scarlett lost everything and Ripcord, who was actually a pretty cool looking figure before, lost his unique vest. Reusing the Duke one really doesn't work that well.

I'm very disappointed because these figures were all amazing. Now they're all just kind of meh.

The cut backs are getting a little annoying.

I actually find them VERY annoying. Due to the lack of supply/poor distribution of current/recent waves of Joe figures, and the high desirability of several figures in these two upcoming waves, I finally caved, gave up on potentially finding them in the wild, and pre-ordered these figures online based on the images presented at NYCC (at higher than retail price - not including the shipping costs), knowing that some accessories were already removed/replaced. Now we see in these carded samples that even those reduced-accessory figures at NYCC are most likely not what we're going to get in our hands. This feels just short of a bait-and-switch type scam. Yes, I could cancel my pre-order (especially tempting for my pre-order of Resolute troopers who I ordered more of than any trooper builder that I currently own [8]), but Hasbro knows that I won't because I am a gullible product-starved fanboy.

My only "retaliation" for how I feel that I've been treated (perhaps others feel the same way, but I can only speak for myself) as a Joe fan by Hasbro/the Hub/HTS over the past year or so is that when their beloved movie product hits shelves, I am going to boycott it and turn my back on them just as I feel that they've turned their backs on me. For the past crappy live-action movie, I bought movie product more because I felt that if I didn't, we wouldn't have future Joe toys like the PoC/30th product we have today, rather than because I actually liked the product. I know that I am only one person and my buying habits won't really make a difference, but if enough people feel similar to the way that I do and don't buy their movie products, and it causes "teh deth of teh line!1!", then I can live with it, since this hobby has become filled much more with disappointment and frustration recently than the joy that attracted me to G.I. Joe in the first place.

Annoying, yes. But I'd rather these type of cutbacks (removing weapons, reusing some parts and gear) then straight up canceling the figures. If this was the first time that we'd seen the figures for Wave 3 and 4 we'd be going just as crazy for them as we did back at JoeCon. Little changes here and there don't bother me as long as the figure is basically the same (and the important accessories like Tecno-Viper's tools and Order are still included).

You know if HTS offered 1/2 cases like other online retailers I might not resent their lack of single packs as much as I do right now.

Maybe another 7 pack? If these 2 sell decent enough, I guess it may be possible.

These pics are of wave 3 and some of four. As far as we've been told, the Zombie Viper, Lifeline and Storm Shadow are all still coming single carded.

Thank you! One idiot posted the wrong thing on HissTank and it became "this is wave 3"
