I picked up Cheetara this weekend at Kmart... pretty cood articulation but sorely needed ankle joints.

I broke down on Sunday and picked up the 4 inch Lion-O figure, good articulation and all, but just to cartoony for me, the sad part is the sword, it's made of softer plastic and bends easily, i didn't see no sign of the Tower playset and i only saw one Thunder tank on the shelf.

IMHO i think this line could have been sooooooooo much better.

I saw all of it today at TRU and a WM, and passed on all of it. Cheetarah's the only one I could work with, since a woman's softer features makes the anime-look easier to swallow, but only her head, hands, and toes are really salvagable, imho. And I noticed the Tank shoots off two faux ThunderBikes or whatever, and that the actual Bikes only attach to the sides of the Tank's paws, not under them as would have been *so* much cooler. Yet again, BandaiAmerica comes close but still fails to get over the bar, imho.

I've been hassling TRU and K-Mart since I first read about these showing up in their stores. On Friday, I finally found a spotty release at TRU, with only the classics, 6", 4" deluxe, and role play out. I grabbed the 6" Mumm-Ra since he's more accurately scaled for the 4" line, deluxe Grune, and the classics. On Saturday I went back and found the Thunder Tank, but still no other 4". Today at lunch I dropped in to see that they had redone all the action figure aisles, and all the 4" cats were out. So I grabbed one of every character (kittens, Cheetara, and Panthro are one per case I believe) including the awesome lizard with the lizard tank. Bring on the next wave!

I saw Thundercats at Walmart for $6.96 but all they had left was Mumm-ra and one of the vehicles w/figure... but didn't see a price.

Been considering whether to buy these or not, after watching a few YouTube reviews and reading what you guys are saying I'll pass The articulation is just ridiculous and I think people want the line to do well so badly that they are deluding themselves into believing that the figures are good making comments like the figure is great... except for the poor articulation and weapons etc.

Althought that lizard temps me, either way they are still 100 times better than the green lantern figs!

I picked up Loin-O, Tygra, Mum-Ra and the Tank. The figures are neat, but the Tank is almost worthless for $30. I'm going to need to do some serious reinforcing to make it play worthy.
