I heard you, but Stan didn't, so I was explaining it to him.

And you're not invisible, you're just translucent. ;)

I saw just didn't think that was the one I was looking for. On this link http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2006/01/05/comic-book-urban-legends-revealed-32/
you can see drawings of Hawk and Scarlet. there is one of Scoop like this somewhere too, I just know there is.

edit: The pic I'm looking for is of Mr. Bones or Mr. Bombs. CJack knows the score on this. t's from a Hama sketchbook.

The one C$ is referring to was from the original idea session Larry sat in on with Marvel and Hasbro. It was a blue folder with a set of Hasbro concept drawings for the original GI Joe team. On the first page (TOC), Larry had scribbled ideas for names, hair color, etc in the margin. He showed it to me at his house in 2002-2003 - I photographed each page and Camper hosted them on his website for a while. Larry sold the folder to a collector shortly afterwards. I have the pictures backed up on a disc somewhere.

Ah, Mr. Bombs. He looks just like Snake Eyes, except no goggles, and the mouth portion of his mask is open and the character has a moustache.

That Scarlett could be done today and still be another unique character.

How cool would it be to have Hamma concept figures like the McQurarrie Concept SW figs?

Are they Hama concepts? Ron Rudat's signature is on the page.

I assumed Hamma since Cjack said thats who showed him the book. Either way I would love to see these as actual figures, custom or actual hasbro release like the McQuarrie figures.

The folder was presented to Larry at the pitch meeting Hasbro had with Marvel. Hasbro pitched the GI Joe concept to Larry - they brought along their own concept drawings by Ron Rudat. (At that time Cobra did not exist, corba was created during this meeting). Over the course of the meeting Larry scribbled notes on the table of contents - ideas for codenames, ethnicity and hair color, etc.

I would still love to see these as figures, anyone know if there are any cobra concept drawings anywhere?
