I know we had one of these, and some stuff has been mentioned in other threads, but I found the last thread useful and thought we should bring the idea back.

Animal Planets stuff is buy one get one 1/2 off - there is a new Indy type truck and two small vehicle playesets (a hovercraft/w crocs and jeep with trailer and Zebra). Even better, I got the wooden arctic playset for $4.98!!! on clearance, and a second one for $2.50!!!!
all Playmobil egypt sets are on clearance and all Playmobil(including clearance) is 20% off - I was really tempted to get the pyramid for $64- 20%= $52 and change!
ROC figures are finally clearanced at $6.98

All the Schleich is 20% off too at TRU. Got the gal with the Elven infant on horseback on extreme clearance and promptly separated the two for future works. Never know when you want an infant in a fantasy scene.

Target had (don't know if it was still going on) a great sale on their horses, some going for under $2! Got the Tinker stallion which I have wanted for a long time, and a Black Forest mare.

Was sorely tempted to get the Playmobil Egyptian Trireme, but they were out. The Ghost Pirate's cutter is another great piece, and the boards by the main mast lift up to expose a hidden cache of weapons. Would make an awesome craft for any needs, just would need to make a better sail.

Did some general perusing on Amazon.com, and saw deals on just about everything, as well as the electronic sale equivalent of "this item is really not for sale", when you see a beyond ridiculous price on it. I mean like a $349 price on a SW comic pack kind of price.

Also, also at TRU: Imaginext sets. Buy one for $24.95 or more, get a second item free, up to $24.95. They have their super cool aircraft carrier set clearanced at $29.99 (normally $49.99), so I got that, and got one of the deluxe $17 planes to go with it for free (all for my son's upcoming 4th b-day).

I got the aircraft carrier and the yellow submarine at the Greenwood TRU. My son loves all of the imaginext stuff. I am currently looking for the Superman/krypto pack if you see one around town.

TRU has 2 for $10.99 this Friday and Saturday for Joes, Marvel Universe, Star Wars, etc. Might be a good chance to pick up some figures and stash them away for Toys for Tots, or to give the Thor figures a try.

I tell ya, with the joes being 8 bucks each and the marvel figures coming down to 8, the marvel figures are looking more and more appealing. I've been seeing the skrull soldier recently, and I found the clear vision at a wal-mart the other day that doesn't even carry marvel figures.

As for being on topic, I saw the target price drop to 6.99 the other day and the apaches at toys r us for 19.99.

Reviving this thread so there's not a new one started...

They just opened a new Tuesday Morning in my area. This will be the second one. I went in to see what they might have. There was a couple of neat things but of interest to the group besides the regular finds of Playmobile and such were G.I.Joe items. I saw the Wolf Hound and new HISS (black version) for $12.99. Nothing really new about that other than another place to find them. There wasn't many left either so I guess they're selling good. They also had left overs of the Target wave with the Lava Pod and such. They were running $7.99

I didn't see any single figures. The only other thing I saw that people might would find interest in was a president figure. It was about 3" tall with a cloth body and wire frame inside. The head was plastic and had a larger size that looked as if it'd be perfect G.I.Joe sized. It was suppose to be George Washington but it was a dead on ringer for Dustin Hoffman. It was only like a buck.

Hehe, yeah I started laughing when I saw it and my wife asked what I saw. I picked it up and asked her "Who does this look like?" She didn't see nothing but the head of the figure and said "Dustin Hoffman, why is there a figure of him?" I pulled my hand back so she could see the pack and she laughed.
