Well, here's my latest Storm Shadow custom, The Arashikage Master.
Image
The story behind this character........
After the awaking of Serpentor and the beginning of the Cobra Civil war, Storm Shadow was completing the final preparations for his plotted revenge against his former student peer and friend, Snake Eyes. The war provided the perfect smoke screen that would allow Snake Eyes to walk directly into his trap and force a final conflict.
Both warriors seemed evenly matched, until Storm Shadow's two secretly trained apprentices, Slice and Dice, flanked Snake Eyes from both sides.
Image
Wounded and extremely fatigued, Snake Eyes managed to strike down both Slice and Dice however, Storm Shadow now had all the advantage.
After using his environment to deceive Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes escaped Merle with his life.
With the loss of his two apprentices and the escape of Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow admitted his defeat. He has since parted ways with Cobra and retreated to the mountains of Japan to rebuild the Arashikage Ninja Clan.

He has given up the hunt, but has he given up the hate...............

Here's the figure

Storm Shadow (V.1)
Storm Shadow (V.1)
Storm Shadow (V.1)

Storm Shadow (V.2)
Storm Shadow (V.2)
Storm Shadow (V.2)

Thank you for looking!

The robe looks good enough. Keep it gray and "stealthed", it suits the ninja. I think V3 is by far the best one, only thing is his thighs - there is something strange going on there.

Love his weapons.

Thanks for the comments.

The robe is doable, but not quite suitable......I'll probably use it Because it's all I got, but I'm gonna try to find something a bit more fitting for the character. This one is just too 'Jedi-ish'.......

The upper legs are VvV Alpine's.

Looks good, good paint work too. If you're looking for other ideas - I like the robe; if you have one of the mail-in Stormshadow masks it might be cool if that were grey or at least the outer part of the robe covering the face if that makes sense (not sure of the plausibility with that Dusty head though).

Wolfman......Mmmm??? Are you suggesting that I Modify the hood of the robe with some sort of face cloth, similar to the mail away SS hood? Or are you saying I should use the SS hood? I could try to modify the hood of the cloak so it has a face cloth......maybe. Depends if I have 'satisfying' material! For the mail away SS hood, I already used that on my V.2 SS, and I have this weird obsession to never use the same piece twice in my customizing (unless it's characters of the same uniform, such as the Crimson Guard and the Headhunters, or if it's a duo-team like Slice and Dice) Which I actually broke that rule on this figure........I used those same arms on my Zartan figure, but I think I concealed them well enough.

X, The fig. does have the Arashikage symbol on the left shoulder.........I don't like this new camera I got. It don't pick up red for chit.

The head doesn't really look Japanese...

Body's pretty cool though.

Yhea, the features on the face are from from orient origin, but damn......I love the look on the face of this Dusty mold! The hair on the other hand has an orient accent to it, which balances the features out a bit to make this head a 'decent' selection. The mail away sculpt was good, but it was missing that 'Im in this for Revenge' look that I feel Storm Shadow needs.

Try this:
http://goodtogocustoms.com/depot/index. ... ucts_id=40

It's based on Storm Shadow's Devil's Due look.

Thanks for your comment Apac! I knew it was going to be a flip of the coin when it came to this head.......glad you like! Thanks.

Jay, it's ironic you would mention that.......Dave is actually gonna hook me up with that head for this figure! I guess he didn't like the Dusty head either.....hehehe!
