On disc 17 of the GI Joe DVD Locker Box Set is a documentary about GI Joe fans.

Pause for rant:

Although they must have found contacting actual Joe fans too dificult even though they were filming at the Atlanta convention because they chose to interview random people on the street outside their office and call them fans - wtf!?

End of rant.

I recognized a few familiar faces from JoeCustoms on the DVD in the Atlanta convention shots. General Hawks chrome dome being the most obvious filling up 6 inches of my TV screen, Sledge Hammer and KOP were also notable. I didn't have the remote control handy to pause so I might even be in there and not know it yet. Suppose I could have watched it again before posting this.

I was curious what fans the box was referring to. All I know is that I wasn't contacted.

Given how many of us were there I bet a lot of us show up. The turnout from this board in Atlanta was nuts.

Yeah, there were a few crowd shots at the lectures that had beau coup JCs but the close ups were limited. KOP was actually in a lecture crowd shot but he kind of stands out in the crowd. Although knowing him for 12+ years may have contributed to my recognizing him.
