I had scanned all of the labels. I was printing out several parts to see what I could do with them. I have enough right now of course going on but eventually I do have something I want to put out. I'm using my machine to print them and laminate so they look nice. I'm glad that machine wasn't in the fire! I keep it at home.

Well, I broke down and bought it. Fortunately it was 80$ (from its starting price of 140$)...

Putting it together was enough of a pain, I don't dare start applying stickers yet...

(Is the infirmary bed supposed to lock anywhere?)

Picked one up last night. Definitely not worth $100, and I'm not entirely sure it's worth the 65 I paid yet either. I did save my receipt though in case Wal-Mart drops the price further.

It falls into the trap of a lot of playsets these days of trying to be a vehicle and a base at the same time, but failing at both. I think if they hadn't tried to incorporate the movie Pit aspects (elevator, breakaway wall, etc) and just focused on making it a good vehicle it could have been a lot better. As it is there's enough cool stuff here to draw me in, but none of it quite hits the mark.

Holy crap though, it's taken me about an hour and a half to apply two sheets of stickers, and I've got four more to go.

I also wish I had the motivation/skills/inspiration to make it into something other than a Joe vehicle, since they already have so many huge land vehicles. It's hard enough for me to find plausible uses for the MCC and the General, now I have this thing too . . . it needs a different name though, anyone got ideas?
