I picked up a couple figures for fodder from Hasbro Toy Shop and got some variants that I have a question about. First is Paris Pursuit Snake-eyes. When this first came out I got one with black Timber. The one I just received has gray Timber. I knew this variant was coming but can't recall which was supposed to be more rare.

And the second one is the Arctic Assault Storm Shadow (bare chest version). I've only seen the masked head version but apparently there is an unmasked version as well (using the Paris Pursuit head and missing the neck wrap). As I was unaware there was a variant for this figure I have no idea which came first and is more rare.

Any insight on these two variants?

It might be the same that happened with the Doctor and Night Adder. One variation came first and then was replaced by the other. I've never seen a white coat Doctor at retail, nor a blue tattoo Adder. I saw my first (and only) unmasked AA SS at CVS.

I think the hardest ones for me to find have been that storm shadow you mentioned, and the blue tattoo night adder. I would say they are hard to find, as most of the time it seems no one around here buys Joes except for me. ( I rarely have trouble finding anything). White Coat Doctor I have seen maybe 3 times.

I have found Kamakura once, and I bought him only to trade off for some parts I needed. Now I kind of want one myself, and haven't seen him since. The SE variants are everywhere around my parts, almost a peg warmer, along with that hole/no hole CC.

It took me forever just to see the variant Cobra Commander without the holes in his chest.
I've yet to see any gray Timber Snake-Eyes, black helmet Gunship Firefly, white coat Doctor or unmasked Arctic Storm Shadow.

Unmasked arctic SS, white coat Doctor, and blue tatts Night Adder all shipped with wave 4, which is pretty tough to come by (also the only place for Kamakura and Nano-Viper). Since wave 5 is plentiful (around here anyway) and the regular versions of the Doctor and SS ship with both waves 3 and 5, white coat and unmasked will probably be scarcer in the long run. No idea at this point on Night Adder, but I have to say that blue will probably be rarer as well. Looks like I should hit Aldi's and see if they have anything left, along with Walgreen's they;'re the only place around here that got 4 in any quantity.

I see the unmasked SS alot, when I first got him though he was maasked and I don't see the masked one anymore. When I ordered one from HTS awhile back they shipped the unmasked one as well.Been seeing a few black tattoo adders and that's all I've gotten, never seen the blue one.
SE when the PP one 1st came out had the black timber but got switched over to grey and that's all I see anymore as well but don't see him much, so IMO the masked SS, black Timber version and blue tats are the rare ones
