How many Pilots would a team like GI Joe keep on staff?

My thoughts were that the majority of the Joe air support would be carrier based (USS Flagg).

My last Check revealed 9:

Ace
Slipstream
Dog Fight
Ghost rider
Skystriker
Maverick
Countdown
Space Shot
Air Raid

I would think that there should be a few more any ideas on how many and what types of planes a carrier like the flagg would carry?

I use these in my collection:
Conquest - Fighter/escort
Tiger Rat/Thunderbolt/ Tiger Bolt (for me anyway) - Close air support (maybe 3 of these?)
Sky Sweeper - Spy plane stuff (maybe one or two?)

any other suggestions?

Steve

Well, as part of my own approach to GIJOE, I realized that some of the pilots were doing to many things.

I made up a C-130 crew to fly the JOEs so Wild Bill could get back in his Dragonfly.

Ace doesn't fly anything but the Skystriker, so I made up a new pilot for the X-16.

I added more flight personnel to the USS Flagg crew: pilots, RIOs, etc.

I made up a strictly medical evac version of the Tomahawk with full crew.

The Sonic Apache has a dedicated crew and I have other crews manning the Dragonfly variants.

I also created some pilot characters to fly the JOEs around in small civilian or military aircraft. I was influenced by Jack 'G-Force' Grimaldi from the Mack Bolan series to have a guy that could ferry a small team someplace when they need to appear civilian or a guy that could fly Hawk to various Juggler meetings. These two would primarily use the civilian LearJets or the military versions (VC something...)

I also took a hard look at the various aircraft the JOEs had and realized some were just not really necessary to to have a dedicated pilot (I'm looking at you Battle Helicopters...)

I never thought about which choppers to use?

I know I am Keeping the Dragon Fly Family as the attack choppers and Black hawks are my tranports... I also have little birds for recon..

I would think 5x Dragonflys
3x Blackhawks
1x Little bird

Where and how did you get a C-130?

Also you have to have atleast one Sky-striker and one Thunderwing (or whatever the F-22 was called)

All planes are used in my world. Plus some others that I made and/or are from other lines. Any stealth planes, there's just the one of. The F-16, there's just 1 of them as well.

If I had the room, time, and everything else, I'd make me 2 C-130s. I have a knockoff Hot Wheels version that I was using to get measurements from. It would be huge though even with the squishing things in idea that G.I.Joe vehicles end up with. But still, if displayed right a smaller one would work. Hang it high and it's size would allow the illusion that it's "high in the air".

I didn't get a C-130.

This thread is about pilots or flight personnel.

I created a flight crew (pilot, co-pilot, flight engineer/navigator, jumpmaster, loadmaster, etc) to operate the various C-130s the JOEs have access to.

I made up a carrier Air wing for my Carrier. I also have an Air expenditionary wing and the army guys have a brigade of helicopters.

When i was younger it bugged me to death that the Skystriker came with only one figure to the point that i made a lop sided trade for another ace. He was my second custom wich i had my father put a doc head on i called i strangly called him smoker.
