So, we all know the next theme (PoC) will be centered around 4 different environments that Joe and Cobra will do combat in. We have even seen some of the figures that are coming out next year, and they look awesome!

What are some figures you would like to see in certain environments? Here are mine:

Jungle
Gung-Ho!!!! (he was born for jungle fightin’)
Pathfinder (a no-brainer)
Stalker (the original figure is nearly perfect, but how about an update?)
Wet-Suit (remember, SEALS are jungle specialists ever since Nam)

Croc-Master (I kinda see him as Cobra’s version of Gung-Ho)
Cobra Trooper (again, we need an update in camo colors)
Copperhead (seems a natural)
SAW-Viper (we really need a cool version of this fig already!)

City
Shockwave (another no-brainer, though how do you improve on perfection?)
Mutt (I’ve always associated him with an urban environment)
Bulletproof (I would think most of his jurisdiction is city)
Low-Light (but again, how do you improve on perfection?)

Alley-Viper (another no-brainer)
Baroness (please not in black)
Night-Viper (see Low-Light)
Night-Creeper (to give Snake Eyes something to do)

Desert
Dusty (a natural)
Flint (need a leader, and he needs an update)
Grunt (remember his tan uniform?)
Outback (favorite of mine who needs versions to ‘survive’ in different environments)

Cobra Officer (would like an update, make him more differentiated from basic trooper)
Major Bludd (seems a natural in the desert)
Scrap Iron (long range missiles for big open spaces)
Viper (I’d love to see what the PoC design team could do with this)

Snow
Alpine (most mountain ranges are snowed in)
Blizzard (another no-brainer)
Iceberg (see above)
Dial-Tone (the one with twig & berries!) :dialtone:

Black-Out (long range precision over the open tundra)
Laser-Viper (see above)
Techno-viper (vehicles break down more in cold weather)
Voltar (Cobra needs more field commanders)

Agree? Disagree? I did 4 of each, but feel to add more or less. Who do you think is suited for which environment and could benefit from a cool updated look with tons of accessories and decent colors?

I gotta ask.

Do you actually own either the 25th or ROC versions of Shockblast?

Because, they're pretty mediocre. Droopy belt, vest that barely fits, head that can't look down, holsters that don't close up over the pistols, Cobra Trooper arms... I managed to fix the belt by sticking his knife in the back so it holds up against the vest, and the head problem with a few x-acto cuts, but otherwise...

I'd kill for a more modern SWAT version of Shockblast in the POC line.

I picked them up as fodder more or less. By perfection I mean the original Night Force version from 88 or 89. The execution wasn't perfect, but I feel the concept was.

You will never hear me use 'perfection' and '25th' in the same sentence! ;-)

Oh.

Yes, the original figure was so great. But the remake needs some serious reworking.
(although I do like they added camo to the Night Force remake)
