I knew this was going to look good, having seen the WIPS. But he really turned out fantastic. The double pecs really sells his power. Another winner, my friend.

Love the effort and workmanship put into this one...but I really think Micro Man parts fail you this time...You've made Goro look like a 4 armed Bluto... I'm not up on what Micro Man parts are out there...but you either need somthing bigger or to have a bit of a shrinky-dink job done to the Goro head and Torso.

I love the figure but I kinda agree with nova. Could we get a comparison pic with a joe so we can see the size and stuff?

Actually I think, if anything, it's the abs that need to be upsized- they're really what's out of per portion. Though I like the figure as is.

I like the figure as he is. I think the MK Goro looked like shlt. He was a fat, stumpy, skinny armed piece of toss.
I got another Goro in a parts lot so I bashed him onto a Kinnikuman base. The only other alternative were perhaps a MLS Venom, but I think the KM beats the piss out of it. He turned out exactly as I wanted him to- a mesomorphic, anatomically correct, human half dragon ass kicking machine.
I really don't see the Bluto thing, if you follw the body contours, they are perfect.
Here's a a comparison pic so you can refresh your mind just how "LASER BLAST" the original Goro is.

I think it's the legs that seem off to me. Iagree this is a vast improvement on the original, I think he needs more mass on his legs to round him out.

great effort on this :-D

Nice paintjob DH. He looks good but I wasn't into MK figures at all and it definately looks better than the original but he needs to be 'beefef' up in the lower half of his body, he's too top heavy.

Looks great, but as has been said, the legs do look a little smal. That is my only critcism. The upper body is superb. Have you tried using the MM Comic Book Superman legs on him?

Kam - nah, I think the MM Supes legs would make him look worse - they're too skinny from the knee down. I don't think beefing up the legs would make him look better. I reckon it would make his waist seem smaller giving the whole thing an unwanted hourglass shape.
This body form is more of a movie type, only with the correct musculature. So basically, it's just a guy in a suit with the extra shoulder set on top of him.

What about using one of the small Marvel Legends figures like Wolverine or something. Not a showdown figure but an actual ML figure. You'd get the size you want and the super articulation. Goro has huge arms and huge legs to go along with the rest of his massive body. You did such a great job with that torso and making that crappy figure so much better that it needs to be as kick ass as Goro should be. That means adding muscle to his arms and legs.
