I picked up a Night Adder last week, and when I opened him I immediately noticed that he felt different from other ROC and 25th Anniversary figures. He seemed quite a bit heavier than other figures and his legs felt quite a bit thicker than other large frame figures like Roadblock and Heavy Duty. But the thing I noticed most was the plastic didn't seem like the same stuff they've used before, it felt more solid and less rubbery, has anyone else noticed any of this?

Not sure.

I just realized last night he wasn't wearing a shirt with sleeves.

Now I know...

Tell me about it, I thought he was wearing a shirt too. I like him, but overall he's just a strange figure.

Maybe Hasbro, knowing he, well resolute Road Block, was going to be a larger figure, they went with the heavier plastic?

That's probably it, it's wierd as the plastic doesn't feel like the plastic the Big H has ever used on any Joes before, it felt to me like the plastic they used for 'Corps figures.

I bought one of these guys on eBay but the picture is a bit on the dark side. I know he's a shirt-less black guy, but what colour are his pants, are they black as well?

More of a very dark blue.

I really like the figure too. I cut the holster and walkie off of an RoC Elite Viper belt, attached them to his vest (so he has a place to carry his pistol) and swapped out his SPAS12 (a weapon I have yet to be satisfied with in 1/18th scale) with a HALO shotgun and bingo, great new character. Still need to find him a knife sheath, but that's less important to me.

I would very much like to see a picture of this.

Once I get home and dig the camera out, you got it.

Probably should have said: Once I get home, play the last stage of BioShock, and put my lunch in the oven . . .

Anyway . . .

I thought about adding one of the Elite-Viper's other belt pouches to him, since it kinda looked like a handcuff pouch, but decided against it.

I fianlly got mine in the mail today, YARG! Forget the dog and the 12 guage, this guys doesn't need anything else to be an enforcer. If he was real law enforcement, the SWAT guys couold just call out, "We're sending in the Night Adder," I know I'd give up without a fight.

Any idea what the holes on the side of his helmet are for? I got him loose so I wasn't sure if it was an accesory that should be with him.

Did anyone else have any trouble sliding the collar over the head of Snookie-Poo Cuddelsomes the Third? I just wanna make sure it's not going to break.

Snookie-Poo's collars are real tight. I think I used a needle-nose plier to stretch it out slightly, then slide it over his widdle-widdle head.

The holes are left overs from the visor for the Ice Viper.

I've modified a couple to wear the Pit Commandos vest and Steel Brigade Helmet. Gives him a very cool, albeit very dark, look. Need to paint some of the features to lighten him up.

Looking good, though. If I find myself with a spare webgear from Elite-Viper I'll have to do the same.
