I have the Flint/CG windsock still in its pack. I sometimes think about opening it, but there is the worry that outside it wouldn’t last very long, and inside it would not be very exciting as a windsock needs wind. If I had a second one, I would open it.

Just wondering if anyone has ever put this on a pole outside, and if there are pictures of that.

Seeing that wind sock reminds me of when I was a kid, I asked for some Transformers for my birthday. I opened up a big package from my grandparents and sure enough, there were some Transformers in there.
A kite with Sideswipe on it, a windsock with OP and a set of pajamas with the Dinobots.
Almost grandparents, almost.
My mom tried to explain that my grandparents didn't have a lot of money, so this is what they could afford. Turns out they could have bought three actual toys for what they spent.

I love licensed stuff like this. But if it is made out of the same plastic as the kites (same company made them) I'd leave them in the package. That plastic is thin and will tear if you look at it funny.

If you open it and get a good scan of it, JMan might be able to screen print you one using modern, more durable, materials.
