CC4:D11 - Create a TRU-style 5 or 6 Pack #11

This is kind of like virtual customizing. Here's the "game":

- Each day I'll post the name for a new G.I.Joe Toys R Us-style ARAH/New Sculpt 6 pack or 25th style 5 pack.
- Based off of the name, you decide which faction it is and what figures would be included in the set.
- Post the names of the figures and the parts that would be used for each.
- Let's try to keep this as realistic as possible. Thus, don't have more than one "new" piece on the parts lists. Stick with existing molds.
- Try to only use parts that we know that Hasbro has.
- For ARAH, I suppose you could list a balljoint head for a straight head torso (since they did mod one in the GreenShirt set).
- Feel free to list what colors characters would be.

Today's name is: Crimson Attack

Crimson Attack -- Ohhh, this is gonna be tough, because of all the cool choices available.

ARAH, obviously.

Let's say two to three each of two to three of any of the following choices:

Crimson Guards - painted like 1985. None of the ARAH Crimson Guards from 2002-2007 quite duplicated the original paint style. Maybe do a Crimson Guard Officer in one of the slightly modified color schemes that the 25th-style multipacks used, with a silver or black chestplate.

Crimson Guard Immortals - pretty much identical to 1991. I always liked these guys. They were certainly more battlefield ready, which this set seems to indicate. They were definitely underused in my opinion. Bring them back.

Crimson Eels - 1985 Eels, with color schemes similar to the 25th-style Cobra Divers, albeit a somewhat more crimson shade of red.

Crimson BATs - Maybe a crimson-colored BAT version 2, or a crimson version of the HeadHunter BATs the Convention came up with in 2008.

Crimson Snipers - Recolor the original Firefly in a less camouflaged color scheme than when he turned up in the Crimson Guard TRU sets.

Crimson Commandos - 1991 Snake-Eyes body in proper crimson color scheme with 1985 Crimson Guard head, maybe with silver faceplate instead of black.

I thought about adding Crimson Ninjas to this, but they'd probably look too much like Red Ninjas, so never mind.

I think I'm going to take this one in a really bizarre twist.

BOX BLURB: Firefly and the Red Ninjas decide to eliminate Snake-Eyes once and for all and enlist the help of Sei Tin to do it. (Done in 25th/RoC Style)

Firefly: Comic Pack Firefly head, Reactive Armor Duke torso, Resolute Duke arms and legs. Equip him with a RoC Storm Shadow katana, Comic Pack Firefly backpack, Resolute Trooper machine gun. Paint him in dark grey with black detaling on the Reactive armor vest and black knee and arm pads.

Sei Tein: RoC Storm Shadow masked head, New Scuplt torso (barechested with a cybernetic spinal cord), Copperhead v2 arms, Serpentor v1 legs. Equip him with a Resolute Comic Pack Storm Shadow bo staff and double scythe weapon. Paint him in dark red for the cloth parts.

Red Ninjas (x2): Use the existing Hasbro molding for the Red Ninjas. Equip them with a Night Creeper crossbow, a Scarlett v1 crossbow, RoC Storm Shadow sais, and a pair of Comic Pack Storm Shadow katanas.

Snake-Eyes: Use the 25th Snake-Eyes v2 head and the Resolute Snake Eyes body. Equip him the Resolute Snake Eyes webgear, PP Snake-Eyes katana and a RoC Hawk rifle and pistol. Paint the body in black with dark blue and light grey detailing.

I like KansasBrawler's version with the Red Ninjas. Very cool idea that I would never have thought of.

Me? I'm going with a straight-up Cobra set. Six figures. 25th/RoC style. Revamp of the Imperial Procession set

Cobra Commander - 25th Hooded CC head, 25th Crimson Guard body, comic pack cape, red uniform with black accents

Baroness - 25th second 5-pack head and body, red uniform with black accents

Imperial Guard (x4) - 25th Range Viper head/helmet, 25th Battle Armor CC torso, arms, upper legs, 25th HISS Driver lower legs, red uniform with gold and black accents

Same accessories as original Imperial Procession set.

Original? Nope, but if the Club can get away with it Hasbro can too ;)

Crimson Attack

Six figures for characters in Cobra's Crimson Guard, but none wearing anything crimson, although all the figures do come with a suitcase with a cloth CG uniform and a helmet that can be put on the figure.

These are the "civilian" uniformed Crimson Guard, the ones who do Cobra's work out in the community.

The evil accountant

The evil lawyer

The evil school teacher

The evil policeman

The evil hazardous waste disposal garbage truck operator

The evil politician

I have several characters created (on paper, at least) that follow this specific idea, although they wouldn't be doing menial jobs as operating garbage trucks. One might own the local garbage hauling business, but he wouldn't be a lowly driver.

My characters have infiltrated small town America. They are lodge members, highway supervisors, council members, country club members, local politicians, prominent businessmen, real estate agents, contractors, doctors, lawyers, etc...

As for the figures:

-Tomax and Xamot: Figures have the comic pack heads on the SDCC Cobra Commander body, with paint apps to reflect their EE cartoon business suits.

-Fred (2x): Figures have the comic pack Siegie/Fred head on the SDCC Cobra Commander body, with paint apps to reflect the Marvel run 'civilian' pinstripe Crimson Guard suits introduced during the event at the stadium. Accessories include briefcases (w/stripped down Siegie rifles and boots), bowling ball bags (to carry helmet), and partially unzippable protective suit carrier (opens up enough to show Siegie suit).

-Fred (Siegie Diplomat): Based on the numerous appearances in the Marvel run, this figure would also have a comic pack Siegie/Fred head on a SDCC Cobra Commander body with black paint apps and tiny Cobra cufflinks/tie clip/college pin. Accessories include briefcase that open to reveal removable manilla folders/stacks of paper/other legal documents on a clipboard, sticks of dynamite with clock timer, and appropriate Cobra issued pistol.

-Fred (Springfield/Broca Beach 'civilian' casual wear): Not sure of actual parts, but could look several different ways.

I'd personally like to see Fred in appropriate golf attire. Accessories to include golf bag with various clubs and some easily hidden in the bag rifle (possibly the 25th Siegie rifle or maybe the Walther 2000? bullpup). Also includes Arbco beer bottles and sweater that is worn over a polo shirt (the style worn like a cape
with popped collars). This one could be replaced by the Policeman version from below...

Other ideas for a civilan Fred:

-Broca Beach Ice Cream Man: Using the Fred head, this wuld be done in white and include a cap and various ice cream wrappers. Extra points if the background includes a street scene with Broca Beach Ice Cream Truck (one side normal, reverse side has truck opened to reveal weapons rack, radar dome, and surveillance mikes for spying).

-Ballgame Vendor Fred: Uses the Fred head with appropriate ballgame vendor uniform with cabbie hat, white apron, chest with strap for hot food/cold drinks/commo gear/Cobra issued pistol with silencer. For those times when a VIP is attending and Cobra wants to kidnap/eliminate him/her.

-Springfield/Broca Beach Police Fred: Uses the Fred head on figure parts that look like the Cobra Springfield policeman from the Marvel run. Done in black paint apps, would include working pistol holster with sidearm, nightstick, mirror glasses hanging from chest pocket, Ithaca shotgun, badge, radio, cuffs case, and must have Rock-Viper moustache.

Mayor Fred Broca: Fred head on SDCC Destro, and his weapon hiding briefcase.

Dr. Broca: ROC stormshadow with Fred head, and stethoscope with hidden blade.

Captain Mike Broca: Fred with removable beret, on General Hawk body

2 crimson guards: with trenchcoats to cover up the suits.

Throw in lots of spy gear and gadgets.

Crimson Attack

Baron Ironblood has grown tired of leading only the Eastern Block forces of Cobra and sent a message to Cobra Commander. “You no longer have an influence here. Beware the Red Shadow.” Having eliminated anyone still loyal to Cobra and converting the remaining forces to his new Red Shadow organization, the Baron has begun his expansion into Western Europe. With his loyal troops, and his trusted right hand, the Black Major, Cobra has trouble coming its way.

Baron Ironblood: R.o.C. Rex body in white with crimson straps and belts and skull & crossbones on right side of torso, R.o.C. Zartan head with painted on moustache and fu-manchu goatee, crimson cloth trench coat, new helmet in black with skull & crossbones on “forehead”. New staff with skull & crossbones on top, removable sword sheathed at the bottom, socom pistol.

Black Major: R.o.C. Destro body, Red Star head and hat. Black uniform with crimson accents, crimson hat with black accents, gloss black boots, Skull & crossbones on right side of jacket. Cartoon Cobra Trooper rifle in black.

Red Shadow Troopers: X4- 25th CC torso and arms, 25rg Cobra Trooper legs, new sculpted head. Crimson uniform with black accents, skull & crossbones on helmet and right arm. 1 RPG, 1 Dragonov rifle, 2 Red Star rifles.
