CC4:D10 - Create a TRU-style 5 or 6 Pack #10

This is kind of like virtual customizing. Here's the "game":

- Each day I'll post the name for a new G.I.Joe Toys R Us-style ARAH/New Sculpt 6 pack or 25th style 5 pack.
- Based off of the name, you decide which faction it is and what figures would be included in the set.
- Post the names of the figures and the parts that would be used for each.
- Let's try to keep this as realistic as possible. Thus, don't have more than one "new" piece on the parts lists. Stick with existing molds.
- Try to only use parts that we know that Hasbro has.
- For ARAH, I suppose you could list a balljoint head for a straight head torso (since they did mod one in the GreenShirt set).
- Feel free to list what colors characters would be.

Today's name is: Assignment: Whiteout

I really like this idea and so I'm going to make both a Joe and a Cobra set. To me, Assignment: Whiteout says arctic ops. Done in 25th/RoC Style

BOX BLURB: Cobra has learned of a secret Joe facility at the North Pole and a team of elite Cobra arctic operatives are sent to destroy the base. Can the Joes keep Cobra from succeeding in their diabolical plan?

Cobra Set

Bayonet: Snow Serpent head, Air Raid torso, Arctic Snake-Eyes arms and legs. Equip him with a Snow Serpent backpack and rocket, RoC Zartan rifle and a Lt. Falcon knife. Paint him with a dark blue face mask and an arctic camo scheme.

Snow Serpent (x2): Use the existing Hasbro mold. Equip them with Snow Serpent backpacks and rocket launchers, an AK-47, a Lt. Falcon shotgun, a Viper rifle, and a PP Baroness silenced Uzi. Paint them with a black facemask and an arctic camo scheme.

Ice Viper (x2)]: Use the existing Hasbro mold. Equip them with a Zartan v1 sniper rifle, RoC Cover Girl machine gun, Roadblock v2 heavy machine gun, and an Ice Viper winter wrapped gun. Paint them with a matching camo scheme.

Joe Set

Snow Job: Use the upcoming Pursuit of Cobra Snow Job mold. Equip him with the PoC Snow Job goggles, PoC Snow Job skis, PoC Snow Job sniper rifle, and Dataframe machine gun. Paint him in a white, blue and grey camo scheme.

Frostbite: New sculpt head, Arctic Snake-Eyes torso, 25th Snow Job arms, Ice Viper legs. Equip him with a RoC Destro shoulder holster and a Snow Job v1 revolver, Tunnel Rat machine gun. Paint him in a white, blue and grey camo scheme.

Arctic Commandos (x3): RoC Pit Commando head, Snow Job v1 torso, Ice Viper arms, Arctic Snake-Eyes legs. Equip them with a Snow Serpent backpack (with the rocket launcher tab removed) and one Lt. Falcon backpack and radio, a Lt. Falcon knife, Flint tactical shotgun, Otuback machine gun, Resolute Duke machine gun, Airborne v1 rifle, and Snake-Eyes v1 pistol. Paint them in a white, blue and grey camo scheme.

Okay, with a concept name of "Whiteout", I had this very brief notion of doing a bunch of G.I.Joe office clerks. Decided against it.

Obviously a snow-based set. Instead of the North Pole, let's switch this one to the SOUTH Pole, hmmm? Cobra has set up a top secret research facility in one of the most uninhabitable, unforgiving places on the planet. G.I.Joe sends their top snow-based personnel to stop them.

ARAH Set, of course.

SNOW JOB, ICEBERG, and BLIZZARD -- all first versions. Very pale grey uniforms with white camouflage. Think about the trousers of most of the Winter Operations team that Toys "R" Us released. I always liked that design.

SNOW SERPENT COMMANDER and two SNOW SERPENTS - version 1, of course. Similar camouflage pattern to the Joes, with with Cobra emblems, of course. Some color differentiation between the Commander and the troops.

Alternatively, a SNOW SERPENT and two ICE B.A.T.s. These would be B.A.T.s (version 2) molded in transparent blue, with white and silver trim. I always through that would be a cool (no pun intended) look, after the transparent red Inferno B.A.T.

Assignment: Whiteout

It is G.I. Joe Arctic Trooper Whiteout versus the enemy Cobra soldiers of Cobra Mountain.

Whiteout
Using the Whiteout figure with some added black on his uniform. A reworked head with removable goggles and hood might be good too. Comes with guns, radio, skis and mountain climbing equipment.

Ghost Bear
In command of the isolated Cobra base in the snow. Wearing the usual arctic wear for that environment.

2 Snow Serpents
Version 1, slightly different uniform.

2 Arctic Pit Vipers
In a white uniform.

Doesn't Hasbro make enough arctic figures as it is?? :-P

But in all seriousness, here's a ROC 5-pack w/vehicle:

Frostbite: ROC Shipwreck head, Snow Job torso and hood, Arctic Snake-Eyes arms and legs, Desert Duke M-4.

Blizzard: 25th Duke head, Arctic Snake-Eyes torso, Cobra Trooper arms, Snow Job legs and ski gear, Dusty helmet, Paris Pursuit Baroness submachine gun.

Iceberg: 25th Roadblock head, Desert Duke torso, ROC Arctic Snake-Eyes arms, legs and coat, Reactive Armor Ripcord's large gun.

Cobra Snow Wolf x2: MARS Trooper head and helmet, Ice-Viper torso, arms and vest, Copperhead legs and knife, Viper Commando backpack and icepick, Arctic Snake-Eyes pickaxe, Paris Pursuit Baroness pulse rifle.

Arctic Mole Pod: White and silver Mole Pod with frosted windows.

I had the same thought as GITrekker on this one about the term Whiteout. Although not Office Clerks, but the joes and cobras that are the paper pushers by secondary MOS.

An ROC style 6 pack with Tomax and Xamot representing Cobra, full suits of course.

Along with Alpine, Spearhead and Hawk all in Class A's, but I have not seen uniforms in the 25th/ROC style that would lend themselves to this.

The 6th would of course be Raptor. ROC Zartan head, new accessory cowl of bird, Torso from Gung Ho with arms from Quick Kick. Legs from Buzzer. Wings would have to be a new accessory as well.

You have the general and his two finance paper pushers, and then you have the Twins for cobra's legit business interests and Raptor in the back cooking the books.

It took me a little bit to come up with something non-arctic, so here goes:

Assignment Whiteout: The Joes launch a multi pronged attack on cobra: Sea, Air, Land, and Space! High above the earth, orbiting the globe, a crack team of Joe Technichans prepare to Whiteout the entire EM specturm over the targeted area just prior to the Air strke and follwed closely by the Sea and Land Forces.

Done up 25th/ROC style, all will have similar spacesuits with unique heads and helmets

Spaceshot is mission commander

Hard Drive is the chief of electronics

Breaker is the payload specialist

Sgt Hacker will be infiltrating key cobra infrastructure as soon as the EM becomes blanketed. his is a supporting electronic attack.

Effects is sitting in the hotseat as pilot (he has been working on his other skill sets)

and Heavy Duty is along as a space gunner, just in case.....
