If you had to choose, what's your least favorite G.I.Joe figure from 1990?

this is actually a good year, i'm gonna go with Stretcher. But he's good for parts anyways as all these guys are, great year. Ambush's hobbit legs are killing me at the moment though.

It was down to Stretcher or Major Storm. Went with Major Storm. Don't like the head and the colors are bland. The name is also lame.

While not my favorite year, adn filled with some mediocre Joes, CPT Grid Iron jumps out as the guy I like the least.

He is just too horrible to figure out why I dislike hime so much. the football grenades? the big chunky helmet? the off-green colors? The fact they took a theme and took it too far?

I mean Bazooka had a jersey on but did not take all the rest so far. Hardball had his Jersey and cap but was still ok....but the CPT? overkill for me.

This was difficult for me, because to me, there wasn't anybody that was really THAT bad on the year. There wasn't anybody really all that outstanding, either. I think some of these characters could have become more prominent if they'd gotten more media time than a second-rate animated series, or if some of them had come along at the same time as the by-then well-established primary cast.

But I went with Captain Grid-Iron. The football gimmick MIGHT have worked if the figure had looked a little more football-player-ish, but even then, it would probably have been a stretch. The gimmick tried too hard to explain itself, and the figure just didn't quite look the part.

Best...year...ever! Not as good as the Cobras though

I went with Cold Front. Molded on helmet and HTF accessories

Capt. Grid-Iron, the year's "leading hero" character. Doesn't have the nostalgia factor of Bazooka or the camp appeal of the Fridge. He's a leader who thinks war is a football game. And he wears yellow pants.

This was definitely a tough choice, as I think the 1990 is perhaps the most underrated, and all of the figures are at least passable. I chose Capt. Grid-Iron because of the silly helmet, but even with less-than-desirable colors he isn't a terrible figure.

1990 was my favorite Joe year and produced some of my favorite characters and figures. I had to vote Major Storm for this one just because of his massive noggin.

even by Joe standards, Capt. Grid Iron was just too silly looking, from the football grenades to the wierd Phallic shooting gun, He was just wierd.

My first vote in these polls. Grid-Iron.

Torso and arms, not so bad. Waist and legs - horrible, and horrible color. Head - fine, but not for the character. Accessories - ridiculous.

Character from the filecard? Terrible. Character from the cartoon? Terrible.

This one is a crystal clear choice for me. The other figures and characters from 1990 were among my favorites.

Major Storm, I don't like that foolish smile on his face.
I dig Grid-Iron, but I only without the grenades and the big gun. It's an OK figure that way.
