gi joe(action force) soapbars. you know anything ????

i just won these two pieces of an auction site....while i think they are neat little pieces, i dont know anything about em...
so i was kinda hoping someone here could shed some light on the issue...
btw. seller said the box was marked 1988.

The ship depicted is not the Flagg, but actuall the USS Ranger (CV-61). It is my assumption that this soap mold was probably avalible from the manufactuer before being rebranded as an Action Force product.
