Ok, I stopped by the Mt Vernon (NY) Target on the way home from work to get some supplies. Wandered by the Joe section and was stunned to see them at $9.09! I almost did a spit take. They were more expensive than the SW figs! Naturally the pegs were full. And the Grand Slam and Air Viper packs were sitting there. No Eels though. Well anyway, this Target didn't have what I was looking for, so I decided to hit the White Plains Target as its also on the way (sorta). Again I stop by the joe section and low and behold $7.89! Plus they had 3 Eel sets in addition to the GS and AV sets. Now I can understand variation in pricing between states, but this is in the same county! Personally I think its because the White Plains Target is right across from a Walmart. But if this $9.09 trend continues I'm outta collecting.

Joe's, even before ROC came out, are moe than Star Wars in my area-7 Super Wal-Mart's, 5 Target's(2 Super's) 1 TRU all in a 20 mile radius of me. SW figures are in the $7.40 range & Joe's are $7.99 at Target & Wal-Mart and at TRU, Joe's, SW, and Marvel Universe figures are $7.99. At Target, wave 1 exclusives are all peg warmers except the Snake Eyes w/bike, which is the hard to get.

I always wondered about that Ogre.

Can Store managers pretty muchj charge whatever they want (the way individual Mcdonalds franchises consider the dollar menu "optional") only responding to sales?

or do they have to respond to a national standard of pricing?

Cause someone mentioned that Targets in Indiana had pricing at 2 for $10.50 to match a local TRU sale, yet Joes are still $8.49 Here in Boston.
