The pics show a little bit of dust on the black, just when you think its all gone...the camera finds it. lol

I like it! Looks nice and clean - like it was meant to be that color.

Now I have some ideas for my old beat-up Moray....

Nice, the colors are perfect and Copperhead looks great in it.

One minor complaint... those yellow missles seem out of place. If you could find a way to match the gray color that the other stuff uses then you'll be the king.

Honestly the blue-green color of the top shell just isn't working for me. I think its a great idea for Copperhead to be behind the wheel of the Moray but the color just throws it off for me. Maybe the Joe version with the marbled green deck would work better. Just my personal preference though.

Thanks for the feedback fellas!!

I thought about painting the missiles...but my son likes the yellow, he says it gives it color. LOL
But I agree...for more realistic purposes...they should be a battleship gray.

That moray actually was a TRU Joe moray. I wanted a color that closely matched the original mocassin...that was the closest I could get. I also found that people around here look at you strange when you are carring an engine cover to a water mocassin around with you to match paint. :shifty:

I forgot to ask - what color/type of paint did you use for the shell?

I couldn't find the right shade in a spray here...checked all over.

I ended up at Home Depot last...and checked their color swatches. Its a mix paint, the color is called "Realm". I ended up buying a quart of it...and 4 lightly brushed coats later I had the desired color.
