With Hydro Viper only utilizing one hand, it dawned on me that they may not be best suited for underwater combat.

So...

I have decide in my Joeuni, that Dr. Mindbender emplants all Hydro Viper with a mind control chip.

Now my Hydro Viper are suicide bombers ready at a switch of a button to destroy themselves all for cobram

Not sure how to reply to this.

I like the hydro viper, sure his hand is posed in a limiting static position, but I never took this to mean he only had one useful hand, rather that his POSE was limited.

Nah, I would never put suicide bombers in Cobra. My Cobras may lose battles but at least they fight like men.

Hydro Viper was a great figure when I used them as wrestlers as a kid. He was the master of the dreaded Claw hold! :-)

Yeah that's what I always though is that they had webbing on both hands. They just molded the one hand to show it and the other hand was a regular hand used to cut down on having to totally remake both hands. Plus it gave 1 hand that would hold guns and stuff.

So you say that the hand is gloved Hmmmm...

This may ruin my take on them.

Maybe I'll convert them to deep sea explorers.

Well the filecard says that they actually have fatty tissue surgically added to their body and that they have to take shots or something to keep from rejecting the addition to their body. So sort of they are the first "Venom trooper" to the line I guess.
