Went with Tripwire (Listen 'n Fun). A good figure and character, but a tad bright.

a TAD bright? good lord, that thing put half the Star Brigade to shame

I voted for Bazooka. Stupidest figure from 2008 too. :shifty:

She never got made.

Back then I took Joe waaaay too seriously. The Revenge of Cobra miniseries featured a lot of previews of the following year's line: Flint, Lady J, Shipwreck, Snake-Eyes, Crimson Guard, Dreadnoks, and even the Flight Pod. It also had Honda Lou running around getting a buttload of screen time, and I was scared to death she was gonna get made as a figure, which meant I would have been obligated to buy her. Not only was she annoying as heck, but she wasn't truly a Joe or a Cobra, which meant the routine accounting I did of my figure collection would be thrown out of whack.

Today, I would probably pay Collector's Club prices for a well done version!

None of them.

Listen N Fun Tripwire was one of my favorite toys as a Kid. I didn't care about him being orange, since I had tons of green guys, trip wire was awesome because the story on the tape showed him to be awesome.

You know, I've never heard what was on this tape. Always been curious. Anyone ever do their computer magic and make an mp3 of it?

I went with Bazooka. I can see why he was a joke to DDP and why they killed him in Resolute. Annoying in the cartoon. Boring toy. Plus, he was a Patriots fan.

I have seen this asked on several message boards, but I know of no one who has made an mp3

I actually have a line on the listen and fun and the mission brazil MOc (about the only way to find the tapes. Once I Have a new job I'll buy them, and get them set up for download.

I know there's a handful of record adventures too, but I only have one of them.

Airtight, Barbecue, and Bazooka were all colored in appallingly bright colors.

Bazooka had olive drab trousers, so that makes the character a bit more bearable than Airtight or Barbecue.

Out of Airtight and Barbecue, Airtight is equally bad in terms of color, but somewhat better sculpted and designed than Barbecue. Airtight's head is covered, but the eyes are visible and Barbecue's human features are totally obscured. That makes Barbecue my least favorite figure of '85.

I had to go with Snake-Eyes. I know, I know, everyone loves the visor, and it is cool. HOWEVER -- the figure had a visible mouth (which I remedied on mine with some resin modeling putty), and almost looked paunchy around the middle. It just wasn't the best incarnation of Snake-Eyes figure-wise, even if the basic design was decent.

O_o

say what???

someone started drinking early today.

I said Tollbooth, just cuz i never really have used him for anything and i didn't have him as a kid. I think lady jaye is ghey and i don't really dig bazooka's look, and i could see tripwire being in first for this, he's kinda ghey too.

Listen/Fun Tripwire is the one here that I consider not integral to a collection. Yes it's a neat novetly item, but not something I feel like I'm missing out by not having.

Quick Kick. As a figure, he looks really out of place when displayed with the rest.

Just for the record, while this remark may have been intended as a joke, I don't find it funny. I don't drink, never have, never will, and alcoholism is a big part of what killed my mother far too early. I don't expect everyone to agree with everyone else's opinion on here, and I may be taking this one too seriously, but I was honestly offended by this remark.
