So normally I open everything without even thinking twice, but Ive found that with my SDCC Destros, I don't know what to do. I want to open them and display them with my other ROC figures, but at the same time the packaging is just too damn cool. I sure don't want to buy another one. What say you?

I'm in the same boat -- so I just caved and bought a second one.

It was either that, or display an empty box, because I HAD to open 3-pc suit Destro.

I'm in the same dilemma, I think I'm going to cave and get another one too, and judging by the way my son has been eyeballing the one I have, it may be two.

They are still in stock at HTS, so I'd do that.

I did the same thing I did with last year's Cobra Commander. I sliced the bubble on one side making sure to leave a hinge on the other side. I took the figures out. Checked them out and played with them. Then put them back in the packaging. It is kind of the best of both worlds short of buying another set. I get to keep the awesome packaging and I have access to the figures.

I opened new Destro, left old Destro on the card in the box.

2 options really. You can get another one so you can open it, or you can slit the blister on the one you have so that the top stay attached and you can remove the figure. I've been doing that with some of the stuff I want to leave on the pack for display but also want to open it. I wish I could find a way to release the glue on the blister pack without it messing up the cardboard.

Well, dang. I got my second SDCC Destro pack today -- and new Destro's card is all warped like it was crammed in the box wrong or something. So I guess I don't have a display model after all.

But I do have a $30 piece of custom fodder, though :P

I didn't vote. I have no idea. I got mine last night. Now I feel like I need to buy a second set just to be able to open one. This is easily the coolest packaging that I've ever seen. I don't have money to buy a second set, so I guess for now, they'll stay packaged.

I passed on this set because there were only really 2 items I wanted in the whole box- unmasked Destro's head (for a Doctor Who custom) and the little gray nano-injector or whatever it is he also comes with. I just got them both thanks to a trade over on the Tri-Gate forum (the head arrived today and the nano-injector should arrive early next week)! I was also somewhat interested in the chromed weapons (especially the pistols) and I got a few of them in trades recently here and on another board!

I answered without even look at what the figure was. I always open. They do still have these in stock at HTS (over 3000 last time I checked.) I'd open and make that sukcer breakdance.
