Aren't these guys supposed to have new articulation? I have only seen the older ones.
If you guys got a Best Buy ad in the paper, the Green Lantern Double Disc has a new Green Lantern figure and he is All GI Joe Articulated. Wrists,knees,ankles...I can't wait for Tuesday...but I though ALL figures were going this route.

Still have the T-crotch though, and the sculpts aren't any better. Closer to Star Wars in design than Joe or MU. Still, they'll be more useful for parts. They didn't show much new DCIH at SDCC, there was a Flash with the new style, but that's all I noticed.

So, is this a freebie with the GL double disc?

If so, what are these discs, how much are they, and who wants to most likely buy my discs after I buy the figure? :shifty:

I'm more into DC Universe Classics than DC Infinite Heroes, although I don't have any problems with Infinite Heroes.

That Green Lantern is SUPERB! I'm looking forward to this animated movie, and had every intention of stopping by Best Buy on Tuesday to get the double-disc version with the figure ANYWAY! Now I'll definitely be there.

think it's like 25 bucks

Yeah, Hypno..they would be good for parts and that's about it. But you know, Star wars articulation is better than limited

They are getting new, non-t-crotch articulation.

Look at the sdcc photos from day two and you'll see some on display.

They look more like Wolvie Origins figures.

That doesn't look half bad. May have to take another look at DC.

It's the new animated Green Lantern flick. In the vein of the recent Wonder Woman movie.

Didn't know it was coming out so soon - I guess I'll have to hit Best Buy instead of my regular Target for the DVD this time.

Yeah the newer ones are much better articulated, but the sculpting and detailing still scream "1970s Fisher Price". Sorry, but until they can make a halfway realistic figure I'm still not interested.

And c'mon Mattel, would it kill you to learn to make a hip joint? I honestly think all their designers must be some kind of mutants with no arm or leg joints goose stepping around Mattel headquarters because it's the only way they can get around.

Yes they will get new hips!!! The DVD GL figure is still with the t-waist.
Check out Batman that orange guy (Major Force) & in the back Catain Atom & Black Lightning.

You can't see Superman's hips because he fell over but he has the new hips too.
They are almost mini DCUCs. All they would need to be the same as DCUC will be stomach crunch artic.
Obviously just like Hasbro they will re-use the old molds every chance they get.

It might be too little too late for DCIF.

Wave 1 is still the most abundant wave I seeand ofr a line that has been out for... almost a year? That's not good.

That Batman also has a much better sculpt. It seems as if Mattell is finally freezing over.

I will, I don't want to start a DC collection other than the classics I am getting now.
