The more I've looked at the team of Duke figures with swapped heads for an instant desert army has me wanting to get a few desert ambush Duke figures now. I was pretty well fine with that figure but just as he is. I didn't even think about how cool and easy it would be to make a small sub-unit of desert guys. Then add in that upcoming set and it'll be nice setup.

Hehe, yeah that's just cool to me for ome reason. I don't know why I like the idea so much, but I guess I'll roll with it and get me some.

Oh and now we're getting a 12" Pimp Dadddy Destro:

Hehe, that purple suit just looks a little too pimp to me.

Also forget the Mole Pod, I want the Lava Pod:

That's a neat looking viper.

As intrigued as I am by more stuff I'm not likely to purchase... Why are those soldiers wearing pink knee pads and pink boots?

Ask the SAS and their pink jeeps. Seriously.
My Duke's boot seem more light tan in regular lighting though.

Well, the third guy over is totally ROC Brawler, so it makes perfect sense.

Pink was used alot in various desert camo's usually as a base under tan or pink hues of suede under tan dyes.
Pink is really resilient in the hot desert sun.

Its to bad the new desert figures don't have the same style camo as movie duke, that could be a LBC army building dream come true.

My friend is there and he went to get me some of the Exclusive Destro figs. He said the line in the morning started upstairs to get a pass to wait in line at the Hasbro booth. The line was so long..he found a vendor selling it for 40 so he got it.

Well guess what I did after saying I wouldn't. Yeah I bought that Crimson Hydra. I was at Toys R Us and they had it and the Dragonhawk. I got caught up in the moment. They had the front display set up with G.I.Joe. The area that was all Transformers. The showcase. It had just gotten setup so I racked up on "2 for $10" fgures along with those vehicles and a few other things. I was back in the 80s at Toys R Us tonight with all that display! It was great.

So anyway, both of those are out. If I can do something tomorrow I'll get a few pictures up. That Aero-Viper with the Hydra is really cool and was the deciding factor to buy that plane.

As much as I wanted to stay away from the movie line, I've got to say I'm really impressed by a great deal of their offerings. The Roll-bar that comes with Beachhead and the bike will totally become Sky Patrol Airborne. And yes, a new Kamakura. This line should win the award for best rehashing of parts to make a new character.

Ok, I got that new Hawk today, so someone was there before me and got the Helix figure. I guess that got Flash too since I didn't see him. I did get the crimson Viper though.
