I just saw these. Looks like Hasbro is going to be doing a movie and comic themed Ironman subline for Marvel Universe. Now, generally, I couldn't care less about Marvel comics or their characters, but Ironman has been one of the few characters that's ever actually grabbed my attention, so this line's got me pretty excited. And even cooler is that this line is actually going to get a Crimson Dynamo! I don't know about you guys, but I see a lot of Cobra power armor potential in these.

When does Deadpool get a subline? :-(

He's the only Marvel character I give a biscuit about.

Delta 1 Accelerator Suit, maybe? :-P

I see some BAT-potential in some of these figures. Iron Monger could make a nice "Resolute Overkill" or something of the sort, and that brown Iron Man could look un-Ironman enough with a head swap to be a BAAT or something.

I think it's great because we get that different power armor in the 4" scale that I like so much. Just a lot of great figures to add to my Marvel Universe collection and even some nice stuff to use for GI Joe and Cobra since the movie has advanced things to the near future.

Ha ha, maybe it was Stark Industries that provided the Joes with the accelerator suits :-D

From a toyline perspective, Iron Man is like a license to print money. Especially at the 3.75 inch scale. Kids will love the various armor gimmicks and diehard fanboys like me can totally see the point of a display featuring about a bazillion variations on Tony's armor. Until now, the only thing holding us back was finding the room for a display like that at the six-inch scale.

The prospect of a whole lot of little IMs is cool, especially if its, like the Wolverine line, both comic and movie inspired. I don't like the hip joint change though. And I hope the photos are of multiple scales, because I really don't want to pay $12 each for ten or so tiny IMs.

I'm also a little disappointed to not see any Wolverine figs. I hope we get more than Cyclops, Iceman, and Collossus. (I hope Collssus comes out. :shifty: )

well, I did see Warpath, Jean Grey, and Classic Cyclops (int he secret Wars) with a rumor that Mohawk Storm is in the works...

maybe thats why they didnt expand on it.

I do want to see movie versions of Zero, Wade Collins, Fred Dukes, and Wraith; as well as maybe some WOlverine villans like Cypher, Android Wolverine,a nd the Reavers.

That display should be of multiple scales. I don't think they've downsized that Subterranean armor Ironman figure.

Yeah, those looked pretty good. Though I have a bit of an internal debate going. Which would I rather see? More MU X-Men which will share parts and skimp on unique elements or more X-MO:W figs which have dedicated sculpts (But hip joints I hate)? Eh, time will tell what we get.

WOO HOO!

Finally getting the 1:18 First Appearance armor (comic style) I've wanted since Hasbro started the 4" Marvel line! Too bad I'll have to wait 'til Spring '10. Guess that mk I custom I've been working off and on for a while can finally be moth-balled.

The 3.75" movie armors look fantastic as well-- definitely going to be must-buys when they hit. I'm especially loving the silver mk II, and wonder if we might get a gunmetal SDCC-style version, too. It would be awesome if it had the rivet detail, but I think Hasbro's too lazy to include it.

Also, looks like I'll continue to cherry-pick MU, though... not too many characters I'm super-psyched for, apart from Spidey's rogues...
