No, sadly Ripcord's Accelerator Suit figure does not feature the wrist-mounted gear.

Is it just me or do the Accelerator suits remind anyone else of Barricade?

Yes, they definitely do. I'm surprised no one has made a custom of Barricade using those bodies yet. Sure, he's a 90s figure, which most people here hate, but he's also an obscure character which most people here seem to like.

They also remind me of the armor suits they wore in the beginning of the movie Doomsday, which was like Mad Max meets Dead-Alive.

I always liked Barricade. I wish we could have seen him as a D.E.F. member as rumored as planned. As a big fan of the SWAT/ LE figures I may just have to try my hands at a Barricade custom.

The accelerator suits look nothing like Barricade, who just wore composite body armor... if anything, the basic reactive armor is much closer to his costume.

The Delta6 legs *totally* remind me of the 1991 Overkill figure, tho. In fact, that's where mine are destined for... once I get my hands on an arctic Storm Shadow... ahhh, customs!
