Ok, we've seen the mentions of various stuff being clearanced, but I just ran into the biggest shock I've seen! Every item not related to the movie was marked down. All single packs were $1.34. I got a Tiger Rat and a Python Conquest for $6.64 each. The comic packs were $3.34, though they only had Scarlett/Hawk pack. The Best Of pack was $3.34 and the G.I.Joe and Cobra 5 packs were $6.64. I didn't check the other vehicle packs and sitting here thinking, I should have. They didn't have a red tag, but they were probably marked down since the Best of pack wasn't tagged either.

If you know there's still stuff at the Target around your area, go check on the price before the weekend is up. I'm guessing it's a weekend thing they're doing to move it out. I was just at this Target the other day when they had just put the movie stuff out and the prices on the other G.I.Joe items wasn't like this. But I remember them blowing out that Action Man line A.T.O.M. like that a few ears ago.

I got the resolute 5pk last night for 6.64. I was stoked!

No it isn't a weekend thing it's their normal markdown to 75% off. I'm not sure how they marked down at other stores. Usually they start at 30% off then 50% & finally 75%. My closest Target totally skipped the 50% off markdown and went straight to 75% off. I wouldn't be surprised if that Target marked them down to 75% out of the blue. Apparently if they did good at selling Joes they would hold out longer than the other stores to mark them down.
By Best of pack you mean the 80's one right? The Spytroops DVD pack is the Greatest Battles pack. Just looking for some clarification because the Best of 80's is highly sought after.

Ran all the way down there excited about a fleet of Python Conquests --- nothing.

I did snag a couple of Cobra 5-packs for $6.24 ea, though. Looks like there are some slight pricing differences across the country. What sucks is that they had a dozen of the 5-packs, but some jerkoff seems to have swapped chrome-faced, fixed-wrist Trooper for original PhailTrooper. Dick.

And yeah, looks like $6.99 is the new base price. Cool.

Actually I got rung up at $1.34. I don't know if they necessarily go on an exact mark down sometimes. Like Chief said, he saw the 5 packs for $6.24 where as they were $6.64 here. They just had the figures and other items thrown on the bottom shelf of an endcap. Like it looks after Christmas. Just laying there. Of the single packs there was 1 Roadblock and 8 Cobra Commanders. They were not marked on the red tag but they showed the price on the "find the price" scanner, then also at the register. I got Roadblock and 5 of the CCs. I figured what the heck for that price. I'll cast a hand to replace the fist and make some new troopers one day when I can.

Ok and yeah it's the Greatest Battle, not Best of. I get the names thrown out confused sometimes with all of them that were thrown at us in a short time. I also forgot to mention that the MASS Device sets were also marked at the $6.64 price. All they had was the Destro, Lady Jaye, Destro pack. I was told though that all sets would be that price (see ROC thread where I had talked with one of the guys stocking the shelf, and he was a G.I.Joe fan). Now we all know the last set is hard to find and it's doubtful any store has/had them, but it would be interesting to hear someone say they walked in and found it.

no 25th at my target at all

It seems like they skipped the 50% off just about everywhere. All the Target's I went to last week still had them at 30% off, and then this week they were 75% off at all of them. $6.24 for the jets and 5 packs and something like $3.22 for comic packs, at the 4 stores I visited.

You guys must live in areas with Targets that aren't frequently visited. All of that good stuff (the vehicles, jets, 5 packs) disappeared at 30% off. Although I was able to find one comic pack for around $2.50, and a bunch of 12" figures for under $4 each.

Wish I could find a Tiger rat or a Joe 5 pack, even at 30% off I'd snag it in a heartbeat. Oh well... hopefully it went to good homes and didn't end up on ebay.

I went to 5 Targets today. All I wanted was a Cobra 5 pack. Of those, I only want the Baroness, and would have happily given the rest away.

I found 5 Scarletts.

If nobody has offered, I'll send you the Baroness from the pack I got yesterday. I already have 1 and don't need another. No customs I have in mind or anything like that. I mostly just wanted the Viper. Probably $4 would cover any shipping charge and we can call it at that.





Well this Target has a decent flow of people. I think the G.I.Joe run has just gone to a point that nobody was buying. No push by Hasbro and nothing else that was calling out to kids or even collectors.

I forgot about the 12" figures. They had some of those too and I didn't scan them to see what price they were. They were probably marked way down too. I'd have grabbed a few.

I hit the Target I frequent today hoping to get the six or so IG/Destro comic packs that have been there since forever and it was all GONE. Not even Combat Heroes left.

Targets in my area are pretty much cleaned out.

If anyone finds any $6 Python Conquests, I'll glad pay for cost plus shipping on a couple of them.
