I've looked and did not see the answer anywhere (or if it's there, I missed it), so where does the non-gun end of the rope (hose, I guess it's supposed to be?) of his laser connect? Either side of it is too small for his backpack hole, and both are too large for the hole in the neck of his armor. I looked him over pretty well and just did not see a place for it to plug into. What am I missing? I just don't see it going anywhere.

Mine absolutely fits into the hole in his neck armor. Why it would go there I have no idea, but it fits, and without a backpack, I don't know where else it could go.

Interesting. I didn't want to stretch out the neck hole, but it looked like the end of the little nub was about 50% larger than the hole. I may have to look at him again and try it. Maybe the hole is filled with paint or something.

I assumed that the little canister on his belt had a hole on the bottom for the thing to plug in to, does it not?

I ordered him for BBTS the day they put them up for sale. Just got it in today. Paid thru the (thrice broken) nose for it. Don't envy me.

And no, Bushi, there' no hole in the canister on his waist. The only other place you can plug the string thing into is the back of the giant launcher-thing, which makes even less sense than the back of his neck.

Bleh that bums me out to no end, I guess I'll have to rig some sort of backpack up...

It plugs into the bottom of his spring launcher. Which is stupid. But oh well.

Anyone else think that ROC Flash may have originally been Resolute Firefly?

No. I think parts (or a part) of him were, but not the entire figure. It's obvious the bottom skirt was, but the top chest armor is totally different, the arms and legs are totally different, and Flash's torso even has an homage of his original backpack sculpted onto the back of it...

So yeah, the skirt came from the Resolute Firefly, and possibly the head (now that it just has a seam and not the spikes that the pre-prod version did) but I think that's where the similarities end.

Justin

Lame.

Well, I guess I'll figure out something to do with it.

Looks like I'll be using a drill bit to bore out that neck hole, then. Mine is about half the size of the peg on that nub thing.

I thought he was lame at first, but seeing him sizzling bad guys in the video game may have won me over.
