I have a question for those of you with the new ROC figures in hand.

1) Are the Duke and Ripcord in Reactive Armor figures the same body?

2) Are the Duke and Ripcord in Accelerator Suit figures the same body?

3) Are the Scarlett and Cover Girl in fatigues figures the same body?

I'm just looking at these for fodder and if I don't have to track down 6 different figures to get the same body type that will save me some hunting.

Thanks!

To be honest, I have both of them and they seem different...

Scarlett and Cover Girl are two different bodies. To me Scarlett has the better articulation in her elbows and hips. She can get a full 90 degree bend in her elbows (plus a degree or two) while Cover Girl has a slight case of Duke-Elbow (but not as bad as the 25th Duke had). Also Scarlett can keep her legs together and still get the 90 degree rotation in her hips (making her ideal for riding in vehicles) while Cover Girl still pulls a Sharon Stone when sitting. Scarlett also sports long sleeves while Cover Girl has rolled up sleeves (causing the Duke-Elbow). In the chest, however, Cover Girl is more modest while Scarlett keeps her shirt open enough to see her undershirt or sports bra. While still on the chest, Scarlett has a painted on logo while Cover Girl has a clip on ID type badge. Also around the waist they have two different types of belts. Cover Girls is a more standard uniform belt while Scarlett has more of what seems to be a combat sash that goes through two really big belt loops in the back. On the legs Cover Girls pockets look more like ammo clip pouches while Scarlett's look more like pockets. Cover Girl has bigger knees with some sort of bar running from the side of the knee piece all the way around the back of the leg. Scarlett's knees are smaller and more seamless. (The knee thing is really going to require pictures so you can see what I'm talking about but my camera is not working...sorry.) The boots are different molds but close to the same with the real difference being that Cover Girl's boots are more wrinkled. And finally Scarlett is about a shoulder taller than Cover Girl.
Hopefully some one else can provide pictures of Cover Girl's knees front and back.

Is the Duke in the accelerator armor out? I know the Duke in the reactive armor is out.

I don't recall seeing Duke in the Accelerator Armor while out hunting but I really wasn't looking for him either so I could have just overlooked him.

Duke in Accelerator Suit has a rocket launcher thingy on his right arm and Ripcord in Accelerator Suit doesn't.

This is great info. Definitely helping me make a decision in which figure to stock up the most on. I can get over the elbow articulation since I don't do a lot of posing but the hips thing might be a deal breaker. I suppose I can dremel them out like with the original 25th diaper crotches but I'd rather not if I can help it.

Thanks a lot for all this detail! Very helpful and I appreciate it.

Cover Girl's hips, on first look, actually seem worse than the diaper-crotch. On those, you could just (warning - next few sentences just sound wrong) shave down the crotch, and they would sit fine. Looking at Cover Girl's last night, it seems the tops of her thighs are too thick, and you'll even have to shave beyond the crotch and into the joint and the top of the hip.

Also, another issue with CG is the badge. Yeah, it looks cool for a control room scene. But, the badge seems to have a tab that fits in a notch in her chest. Remove the badge, and you'll have to make sure to fill the gap.

"Also Scarlett can keep her legs together and still get the 90 degree rotation in her hips" :rotfl: Taken out of context that's funny as heck!

Unless I'm daft, I am pretty sure the Cover Girl body is the same as the 2009 5-pack Lady Jaye. She's got new lower legs and new arms in addition to the headsculpt, but the body looks pretty damn the same to me.

The ID badge even plugs into the same spot as Jaye's dagger.

You're right, the belt loops are even the same (slightly off center).

Good eye.
