Actually, it's his third batch. He has put up 100 per day for the last three days. They've been selling out in a matter of hours. I was going to skip it and wait for the 7-packs, but my will power gave way and I bought one.

GOt mine in the mail today and I gotta say it's a great figure, but 2 downfalls that are kinda big IMO: 1)the knife/grenade does not stay on his vest and 2) the gun does not connect to his backpack. Hopefully these are just flaws of the preproduction runs and hasbro fixed it for the final products. The sheath has a peg on it to go into a hole on his vest, but it does not stay. The gun doesn't have any kind of pegs to connect to the pack that i can see. The billy club even has a place to attach to on the inside of his shield. since this hopefully isnt the final product I'll probably just glue the pieces on, but I really hope it got fixed. Great figure otherwise.

**EDIT** I found out that the chest knife is supposed to be glued down(for the final figure), but does not come that way here. NO fix for the gun and pack.

That sucks about the gun and the backpack. I just assumed that they would have them connect since the original was just one solid piece, and they were able to do something like that with Beach Head's crossbow. I'll still be excited to get this figure in those packs despite this, though.

Honestly, I glued the chest knife on and wrapped a clear band around the bacpack to get the hook gun in place and it's pefect now, really, this figure is amazing.

The 1989 version is my favroite Cobra figure ever and this one matches it on the coolness factor but clobbers it in the gear department. It was definitely worth the long 2 year wait to finally get the Alley Viper in 25th Anniversary form!

Found the same "flaws" when mine arrived. As mentioned above, I'll just glue the knife on and use a clear band on the BP. How could Hasbro have let the backpack gun thing get made with no way to actually attach them??? I hope this gets corrected in subsequent releases.
