1) You can have a massive paradrop amidst floating balloons, with jet gliders and flight pods flying in the middle of all of it, and not have a single soldier get hurt.
2) Every time there's a celebration at the Statue Of Liberty, GIJoe hides its entire roster and armory inside the statue, just in case Cobra attacks.
3) Grabbing onto a jet and punching its windshield is enough to send said jet spiraling out of control.
4) You can get punched off the Statue's shoulder and fall onto a flight pod near its feet and not only be unscathed, but you won't even damage the pod's windshield.
5) Daring, highly-trained special mission force members can be allowed to carry heavy ordnance if they can't even keep their own footing and accidentally fire said ordnance at a friend's head.
6) Apparently, it takes all of five seconds for a man on a mere jetpack with no protection whatsoever (not even an air mask) to go from the Statue Of Liberty to a huge ship flying high above the statue, and only two seconds to get at a safe distance.
7) Stuff can blow up all around the Statue Of Liberty, but it won't make a dent in the old gal.

Anybody got anymore?

1) the coast guard, Air traffic controller, or any early warning radar cannot detect a large fortress flying into the Hudson from the coast.

2) Crimson Guardsman don't like TV cameras.

3) Major Bludd can apparently survive a fall from 60 feet in the air, after being shot int he back, and having a jet pack blow up on your back.....but a knife to the chest is lethal.

4) Snake eyes is super awesome!

5) all Joes can apparently fly anything....

Yeah, as I see more and more of the cartoons (thanx to the DVD sets), I keep expecting to see a formation of Skystrikers flying by and if I pause it and zoom in I can see Junkyard and Timber in one...

Actually my favorite parts of the Movie intro is Snake-Eyes doing the acrobatic move on the Trouble Bubble, Hawk pumping out some full metal jacket (even if it is laser fire), and the way the screen breaks into four section when Cobra Commander is on top of the TB.

oh yeah, I love how Cobra Commander is wearing this huge glider that sticks out so far on each side, yet when he turns after planting the bomb the wings don't bounce off the Statue base...

Music made in the 80s is way better then music made for modern cartoon based franchises today....

For cross references see Transformers the movie, as compared to Michael Bays Transformers...

Let's be honest here - That pretty much holds true for music in general, not just for cartoons!

Other than the lasers, this probably bothered me more than anything else in the cartoons. Even the really silly episodes.

1) Sunbow had it in their capacity to make a decent GI Joe cartoon, they just chose not to.

1) That the movie should have finished right after Pythona revealed herself to Serpentor. It just goes downhill from there. The opening credits are the best bit.

2) That is how Snake-Eyes and Hawk should have been treated in teh rest of the cartoons

3) Just like on The A-Team, no matter how many thousand rounds of ammunition you fire off in a small area, no-one even gets wounded

4) Crimson Guardsmen hate cameramen

5) They should have made the rest of teh cartoons like this

Also, a bit of Fridge Logic.

Major Bludd pretty much plummets to his death here courtesy of Duke.
