I just opened up my Movie Wolverine and am a bit ticked off.

Why are his claws webbed?

I can understand the whole 'long fragile parts', but it lloks so ugly.

Ironically, this is a toy company taking steps to prevent something from breaking off, yet the thing they are worried about breaking is Admantium claws... :whistling:

I don't have the movie figure, but I have the yellow comic Wolvie, and the spacing inbetween the claws is thin and painted black, so I think it's probably the best his claws have ever looked. Either they are seperated and they get all bent beyond repair in the package or the "webbing" between the claws is too thick and looks bad. I'll settle for this way. I do wish it was perfectly what I wanted though.

The more I look at that Weapon X chamber, the more I like it. It doesn't come with the helmet thing though, does it?

I just found Iceman and Cyclops at Target today. It looks like there was only 1 of each in the cases because there was at least 30 other figures, but these were the only 2 I hadn't previously seen. I've not opened them yet, but Iceman is pretty cool.

pics later....

The only other "new" figure in the wave with Cyclops and Iceman is a yellow and blue Wolverine with a new unmasked head. It's not a very good new head either. The cardback also shows the movie Logan, but I have no idea what the casepack is.

C'mon Hasbro, how about some other Wolvy characters? Cyber, Dog Logan, Wild Child, Wraith, Silver Fox, Deathstrike, Shiva, I could go on forever.

the question is, will they give us Movie Deathstrike, or Comic Deathstrike.

I for one wouldnt mind a Reavers set, along with Cole Malcom, Reece, Bonebreaker, Skullbuster, and Pretty Boy.

Skullbuster, Bonebreaker, Cole, Reese, and Macon would all be pretty cool.
I was never a big fan of Prettyboy, but if the others were ever made, he would be nessecary, just to complete the team.

I also found the new Iceman and Cyclops figures (at Target). I'm a little let down by them. Not completely let down, just a little.

Iceman suffers from the short torso syndrome, and it unfortunately makes him a rather short figure. About the same size as Wolverine. If his torso were a more properly proportioned size, his height would be perfect. He also has no wrist articulation.

Cyclops' arms seem a bit too short and he doesn't have any ankle articulation. On top of no ankle articulation, his ankles are molded at an odd angle that keeps mine from being able to stand up, with his legs straight, without the use of a figure stand. The best he can do is stand in a slightly crouched position, with his knees slightly bent. Both of his ankles are molded very similar to Gambit's left ankle position.

I still like both figures, but they are both far from being the best of the line, and leave me a little anxious to see their Marvel Universe versions.

I've heard other reports that the new wave is out, but I don't really get excited to find them until someone here says they have them. I hope to find these. Cyclops is a must buy because I love Cyclops. Iceman, I'm still on the fence about. The regular Marvel line making the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends box set seems to have better articulation, but I'm still not sure which one I like the look of more.

Iceman is a shade taller than Wolverine and a shade shorter than Cyclops. For a guy that's supposed to be 5 foot 9 (I think) that's not too off.

Cyclops does have short lower arms. I think if the wrist bands were just a little bigger it wouldn't look so odd.
