New pics from overseas show the upcoming Mindbender with the 25th Gung-Ho torso, not the newly sculpted one shown in the original pictures.

I was really excited about Mindbender getting a better shirtless torso because it's got a lot of custom uses (and I'd end up with multiple Mindbenders anyway army building the rest of the set) but I already hate the Gung-Ho torso, so this is disappointing to me. I'll just have to hope that the Resolute Storm Shadow makes it out so I can buy extras of that for my bare chest needs.

Well, that's true in this case only if the actual Mindbender's come out with the newly sculpted torso. If they don't, then the actual promo pics from Hasbro is what will be unpredictable.

yeah, when I saw the latest Mindbender pics my hopes sank a little. He's using Gung-Ho's torso with CGs' legs. Not a bad customizing attempt but far from the official proto shots from Hasbro.

I think it's the Viper legs on both figures just in the first picture his legs are turned the side a bit and with the black cloak you can't tell as easily that they reused the Viper legs.

Incorrect. The one with the Gung Ho torso definately has Crimson Guard legs. You can tell by that stupid 'holster' thing on the left leg.

yeah without a shadow of a doubt it's the CG legs for sure.

again, something a customizer would do with the parts available - nothing wrong with that. I just think Mindbender is a distinct character enough (like Major Bludd) to have his own leg mold.

It might just be the lighting, but the thighs look painted instead of molded in color, and not a factory style paint job, either. I'm thinking it's a custom.

But how many times have we said that (and HOPED that) and it turns out to always be the final production piece.

I was hoping Monkeywrench would come with his shades - that the Outback head was a custom. Yeah I got shafted on that.
