If you're like me, you like Maurauder Gun Runners and love their modular weapons. Just recently, I picked up the SKAR modular riffle from Maurauder John at the Canadian Joe Convention.

Awesome gun, lots of potential, handy for almost anybody. The gun overall, I'm saying. Obviously some pieces of it are less universal than others.

A chainsaw bayonet? Right, like I'll ever use that one. It's going into the bag and will probably never come out again. Sure, I could give it to a Dreadnok, but I don't do Dreadnok customs. So other than those crazy Australian bikers, who would be crazy enough to run into battle with a chainsaw strapped to a gun?

um.....

these have been out since Last year....they came out with the 08 release right after Joecon.

But I admit, the SCAR is one of that lines best weapons....
and the modular parts are GREAT!

(I prefer the Bayonet attachment, but Deadpool with the chainsaw looks cool!)

I've got two of the SCARs. They're great rifles, but I'm more fond of the M14 EBR.

And, chainsaw bayonets are The Coolest Thing Ever. One of my monster hunters uses one.

If it ain't broke, take it apart and lose some of the pieces. Then, it'll be a custom.

Bah, they''re new to Scramble, and that is really all that matters. Sure it isn't "news", but it is neat to see someone find something they passed on before only to realize what they've been missing.

I agree with you on all counts here. The SCAR is one of the cooler weapons and the chainsaw weapon only works really well with certain sociopath type characters.

Scramble, if you've been reading Raptor's articles in the JoeCanuck newsletter, then you already know you need to get a pin drill or small drill bit for your dremel so you can start putting holes in your other Marauder weapons. Seriously, these Modular sets are great in their own right, but being able to adopt any of these mods to any weapon just ups the anti for what we can do as customizers.

I have 2 as well, and they are awesome. Really a fan from the maintenance perspective...

AH, you meant the toy...

I love this SKAR rifle. I'm using it for my IGs. It's a great piece and my favorite of the modular rifles.
