I was putting some 25th stuff away yesterday and discovered Junkyard's...endowment. I know it's been discussed on the board before (at least its existence), but does anyone else find it odd that Hasbro would choose to include that little detail on the figure? What was their reasoning?

"Realism" is one possibility, but if Hasbro was going to start emphasizing verisimilitude in the line, there are better places to start (try the tiny heads on most of the figures). Perhaps it was a joke for those paying attention, or a weird bit of humor for the kids. If so, again, what a strange choice. Any way you look at it, it's just odd. I'm not saying it shouldn't be there; I don't find it in poor taste or anything. I'm just surprised that Hasbro chose to release it.

I hate to work blue, but I just noticed it and wanted to gauge people's reaction to it. Your thoughts?

He isn't the first 1/18 scale dog to be sculpted accurately. Papo, Schliech, and even those Homies dogs all look like they do in real life. To be honest I'd be more surprised if they pulled a Ken and sculpted flesh color underwear on him. :D
