Wolverine vs Sabretooth: Back Road Brawl

Thanks to Leonardo T Dragon for the heads-up on this set at our TRU.

My camera died before I could get some more shots with size comparisons and such.

Sabretooth is huge! To the top of his head, he's about 4 7/16" tall, and just a touch over 4 1/2" tall at the top of his fur collar. He's got a sort of metallic/pearlescent paint job, which I wasn't expecting, but it's not bad. Brown costume Wolverine's head is right at Sabretooth's chin. The Wolverine with the set is kind of a letdown though. The holes in his jacket are too big, so you can see his torso through them. I might have to go over the exposed parts with some black paint. The arms are cool though, and sport a cut joint like the updated Duke, right at the rolled-up sleeves.His jeans have a nice worn-in paint effect. Good Wolverine, but not as good as I'd hoped. The bike is a modified Mutt bike from KOTCS. It's the same, minus the ____ seat and saddlebags.

Urgh. I really like that Sabertooth, and the height is nice too.

20 isn't bad.. its by no means good though.

It hurts knowing some of that went to the bike and packaging, but Sabretooth's size and quality make up for it a little.

As far as I know, this is the only way to get that Sabretooth, correct? I really don't like the character/figure enough to spend 20 bucks on it, because the motorcyle and Logan have no use to me.

Given Hasbro's track record I'll bet anyone ten bucks that we see this Sabretooth again in either the Wolverine Origins line or the MU line. Probably why they went with the somewhat metallic paint too.
