How do you go about shrinking a head? That sounds weird saying it.

You make a silicone mold, and then instead of casting it with resin you cast it with a product call hydoshrink. Over the course of about a week the hydroshrink shrinks down to half the original size.

I'll do that, I was thinking about talking to him, but wasn't sure if it would mean losing the original head, so I held off. I even thought about the term hydroshrink, and I thought I'd heard of this somewhere, but I boiled a head I didn't care about and threw it in the freezer, thinking it would shrink, 30 min later I had a head that was hard as a rock ,lol, I coulda sworn I'd heard that was hydroshrinking, I guess it was just the voices in my head, making fun of me again. :whistling:

And now that you've told us that story, we're gonna have to join in with the voices too!

So, is there a way to do the opposite and enlarge a head?

I believe the term is HydroSpan.

Nah he sends your head back along with the shrunken head or however many you ask from him. He just usually keeps the mold so he can make more of them later for you or maybe sell later on his site.

Thats cool, I wondered if that was how his choices on heads to be shrunken were made.

And trust me Adrien this won't be the last time. If I do something that goofy, I tend to share so others can get a laugh, too, I did actually laugh at myself when I got the response.

Actually yes there is. He's done a few for me upsizing to Sigma 6 scale and they all turned out frelling awesome! [shameless-plug]Check out page 5 of his store to see the ones he's done so far and check out my Snake Plissken, Metal Head and Sabretooth customs to see how they come out painted. [/shameless-plug]
