I just finished him today, he needs a few tweaks, but i like him so far. The base figure was 25th Snake-eyes with gloves and legs from 25th Cobra Commander. The chest plate, which I plan to either resculpt or completely replace, was sculpted onto a 25th Officer webgear. His helmet seems a bit off, so I have plans to rework it, probably redo the visor. The OICW is standing in until I find a proper laser rifle. i was going to use the Barrel Roll sci-fi looking rifle, but the figure can't hold it well.

Sweet!! Love how you used the CC hands & legs. That never would have occurred to me.

Can't wait to see what he looks like after you make your tweaks (looks pretty dang cool as-is now.)

I really like the initial look so far. Never thought I'd see a Flash 25th custom, but glad to be seeing this one. Only suggestion I have is to thin out the padding on the chest, though your sculpting has really captured the original feel, maybe just removing a row of padding on each side. The helmet works great as well as the gun. Any plans for backpack?

I was thinking about a pack, but the original rifle I picked was bulky enough it could have had a self contained power source. Now that I ditched that gun, I may add the pack.

Remove a row vertically or horizontally?

I'm thinking vertically off of each side. Would thin the feel of the character. just my opinion though.

Right not the biggest problem is the chest padding...it's currently looking like he's holding a pillowed quilt across his chest. I think if you took out the outer most column of squares on each side it would slim down the padding to a Chest only area...and then you would have room to sculpt the "metal frame work" that holds the quilted area down...you know the silver parts on the vintage flash or grand slam...

The arms look great...maybe to unifi the theme add some silver piping around the shoulder pads...the CC arm's look great...who's hand did you replace the fist with?

I'm not wild on the Cobra trooper belt buckle for a joe...i don't know if I've looked close enough at any of the 25th figs to suggest an alternate.

I think your THigh pads are a tad oversized as well...I'd shrink the size of your quilting on them...and loose the bottom most row to bring the bottom edge of the pad up so it's not right no the knee. Great use of the CC parts again for the feet...Now if only we can get the paint to cover the joints....maybe a bit of a dye bath would help camoflauge the blue into the green better.

I dont think the cobra belt buckle is all that noticable personally. I gota echo about trimming down the padding but this a pretty sweet rendition of old Flash.

Oh, and I don't think the helmet needs any work except maybe raising the visor so its just covering his eyes and not his nose too.

The visor'll probably just get a trim, it turned out much bigger than planned.

The hands are Snake-eyes, removed just below the band on his gloves and glued to CC's.

Very nice work, I agree with nova, if you thinned the padding down just a little it would be perfect. I also like the helmet, again just trim the visor down a litle to shop more of his face.

Yeah, definitely agree with the padding. Needs a slight trim. Otherwise, a great figure. Now how about :grandslam: ?

Nice work, and great job painting the head. I didn't even realize it was Switch gears at first.

I want to make GS, but I'll definantly tweak him so he isn't an exact copy in silver. And I need to build a JUMP. I tested a classic JUMP and it's so heavy, he won't stand.
