As a collector interest this thing fails
I was not against dropping 100 or conceiving of doing so if this was worth it, but based on the pics, the problem is it tries to carry so many buckets of water that it loses most of the water in each one. There is not enough detail for all the little compartments they try to squeeze in based on the pics.
Where the ROCC knew what it was and executed according to those limitations as necessary, this thing is unsure of what it is, and it shows overall. It reminds of the Cobra Mountain in a sense.
When you try to squeeze in too many play features you have to limit the scope of each to make them work. Had they focused on say, 1 big room inside the thing, that may have worked. It wouldn't be accurate but it would be collector friendly.
BTW, it may work as something that appeals to kids, but for me, you basically pick up this big expensive plastic hunk that has 0 room for you to do anything with it in terms of diorama displays.
I really think that is why Lanard never attempted to do this. Their vehicles have always had enough troop area play in the right proportion, but i guess they never saw the value of a larger playset because they could not accomplish said goals.
