SUPER excited about these!
12 packs with 2 figures per. They should be able to make almost all of the characters that were involved.

That Wolvie looks outstanding too!

F*$K YEAH!!!!

I like this Torch way better than the clear one. I'll be getting all 12 packs regardless of what figures come with them. Secret Wars is what got me into comic collecting as a kid, and the original Wolvie was one of my favorite toys as a kid.

:awesome:

These comic packs are a really cool idea, and it's a great story arc to pick to start with. That Spider-Man is a bad figure, though. I just don't like something about it. Borderline hate, actually. I don't know if it's the same one that is currently out or not, but the SHS one is much better detail wise. Sadly, I love the Wrecking Crew, so I might wind up with that Spidey anyway. There's something I'm really impressed with when it comes to that Human Torch. I was debating on which Wolverine Origins Wolvie to get, but I might just ignore them and wait for that comic pack.

Now these are cool! It makes up for that crap they put out years ago as a "Secret Wars" toy line. It took how many years to get a decent product out?

Holy Hell. Those are amazing. That Thunderball makes mine look like craps.

I'm sure we'll at least get Wrecker in the sets if not the whole crew.

The Wrecking Crew, perhaps the Absorbing Man...the possibilities of this sub-line are really hitting me in my happy places.

I'm down with that hate for the Spidey, though. Looks like a guy dressed up in a Spidey suit for Halloween or something.

It'd be great if they knocked out the rest of the X-Men in this group, too. I'd at least like to get a Cyclops and Nightcrawler out of the deal.

"The greatest crossover event of all time"? Really? I don't about that. Maybe Mattel will do Crisis on Infinite Earths comics packs, the would be the greatest of all time.

Series-wise, not figure-wise, but I do still like the figures!

Not a bad idea at all. We get cool figures we might not have gotten in single packs and the kids get to find out what this Secret Wars thing us geezers have been talking about.

Only down side is having to keep to up with what's coming out in single packs and what's coming out in these comic book packs so I don't end up with duplicates of the figures.

Exactly. Sort of like when I got the Rattler and had to go darn I've already got this figure in the same colors.
