My local Wally-World just restocked and I picked up both Resolute comic packs. I'll get pics up shortly.

Tunnel Rat's borderline great, so is shockwave... what holds shockwave back, to me, is the lack of his machine gun knife & backpack. sure, the 3 hats are good...but they aren't a silenced uzi or combat knife.

and with the weird timing they got on distribution of the resolute stuff (i.e. comic packs coming out now while single card figures came out in dec. (thanks Target, that LiFo distribution approach works great!)), it seems like the resolute cartoon should have been out by now.

Got mine from BBTS about a month or so ago. Can't say I'm overly impressed with them. Tunnel Rat got a new head and Storm Shadow became Budo. Shockwave looks decent and definitely usable as is (with some Marauder weapons) but I'm really not sure what to do with Destro. I need to see the animation before I decide how to use him. If he matches the 'toon really well then that's how he'll be used. Otherwise I don't know where he'll go.

I picked both sets up this week - I think my custom Shockwave & TR are better than these, so I'm going to just use the CP figs for parts (and figure stands). SS is awesome -and I'm also using mine for Budo - I think he's perfect for the character. I'm still debating whether or not to leave the Arasikage symbols on him, though. Maybe he'll be an honorary member or something (because I like the look and I gave him Arasikage swords.)

I ended up putting a Serpentor head and the SS/"Dice" mask on Destro, so now he's some kind of giant cyber-ninja dude (the spiked feet seem to work for that concept.)

So out of all of them, SS is complete win while the others are pretty "meh". The SS/TR comic is ok, though.

Found them a week ago at Wal-Mart too. I was surprised they had them. I like Destro actually, but not really as Destro. Plus I guess the comic is hinting that we'll see Destro's vehicle eventually too.

Wait, the Resolute sets are the Tunnel Rat/Storm Shadow and the Destro/Shockblast?

I got mine about a month ago...

I don't like the name Shockblast. No reason why the JOEs can't have two SWAT guys on the Team.

Mainframe is Mainframe too. Stupid Dataframe. what the heck is that anyway?

yeah got mine about a month ago too. I like the figures for the most part, a few flaws on each but good enough

yeah, custom fodder and a ninja, woot!

Desto's backpack might work for a techno styled Bane figure.

shockwave was kind of win for me, if I can find two silenced sub machine guns, that is.

tunnel rat? phail. He's going in the trade bin, I like his harness, thats it.

I picked these up yesterday at Wal-Mart along with that elusive Wild Bill/Scrap iron pack I've been searching for forever.

Destro is strangely compelling. And I'd love to have a few extras to use for parts if I can find them. The red Destro torso especially gives me ideas. ..

ShockWAVE is just a flat great figure. From his multiple headgear to his removeable vest, I can't think of a thing I'd change.

Storm Shadow is. . . odd. I like the idea of using him for Budo, which hadn't occurred to me. That Dice mask alone is worth the price of admission. It's going on a Torpedo head ASAP.

Tunel Rat is a figure and character that never really excited me, but this figure is definately him. The head is SPOT ON Larry Hama though. I wonder if they scanned him?

Worth the money IMHO.

So who's making me a"Nitro Dude" custom, hmmmm?

Dataframe and Shockblast is because Hasbro lost rights to Mainframe and Shockwave, which is funny because they referred to both of them using their original names in the comics for Tripwire/cc and Destro/Iron Grenadier.

I found a solution for Shockwave's missing gun, the one that came with the second VvV Snake-eyes.

you know, the nitro dude thing kind of bummed me out.

"Look adults, people die in Resolute!"

But its some no name that was just on this mission, red shirt substitution, anyone?

Kirk: Ahh. . . .very dangerouuuuus. . .planet, I'll take Mccoy, Spock, and (looking around, looking around, then the elevator door opens). . .that guy in the red, come on son.

Un named Red: Crap. . .
