Saw a couple of the G.I.Joe Target Exclusive Ultimate Battle sets today at a Target, marked down to $27.48. That's getting pretty tempting. But I am wondering if this is the final reduction, or if there's a chance of one more drop, what it might be, and when? Any Target experts out there?

BTW, anybody seeing any JLU 6-packs with Batman and all the bad guys?

Isn't there a trick to it where the last digits indicates the last price drop?

I think, depending on how many of these are in your target, the people who resell them will start grabbing, and if 1 or 2 lag behind you might see them for like 10-15 bucks and at that point I would say is the time to end it and grab.

Nice to know they're still out there. They seem to be gone from the Targets near me, from the clearance section. I have the "Wannabees of the League" (honestly, where did they get off calling that set "Legends..." ) but I put off the other one since I wasn't quite as impressed with it. If I can score it for less than ten bucks, though...

When the price ends in a 4, that's as low at it will go. Based on how long it's taken them to drop their surplus this far (I saw 23 of these in 2 Targets over the weekend) I would be we're at least 2 weeks away from another price drop. $27 is a tempting price for resale, but still pretty close to break even. If they go lower, then that might change....

I've been eying this set too. Been really tempted to grab it the last couple of days. Since I'm not DYING to get it, I'm going to wait. If it falls down to $15 though I'll snatch one up. Heck that HISS tank alone would sell individually for that much so can't pass it up at that price. Like getting the rest of the set free.

What's weird is that one Target has them at $28 and the other Targets nearby have it for $10 more. Weird.

For $29, if you don't have it and want it you should pick it up. It might go lower but you might also find that you didn't get any. I guess it depends on how much you want one. It's a decent set, certainly worth $29.

I got it with a price adjust at 30 something, and it was well worth it. Getting all those classic vehicles in one go was pure awesome.

75% is the lowest I think it goes.
Look on the tag on the upper right there should be a number. 30, 50, or 75 that tells you how much off it is.
My Target hasn't even clearanced the lame Star Wars UBP. $54.99
Then I noticed one Target had the Joe UBP for $62.99. My closest one sold them for $54.99. So those are the prices they are taking the percentage off.
The 2nd closest Target sold out of UBP already. I think they only made it to 50% off. The one nearest to me still has 2 at 30% off. Sometimes they just skip one of the price reductions & go straight to 75% off. Good luck in finding one then.
So it depends if your area has enough for demand.

Either this Thursday or next Thursday should be when the after-Christmas clearance goes to 75% for all the clearance toys. This is the best time of year to suck up clearance toys for the kids to give their friends for birthdays through the year (yes, I'm a cheap.....)

The Target here only had two left when they started to put them on clearance. $38. Then they put them to 50% off at some time and I missed them both. They had about two full aisles of clearanced things a week ago. Two days ago, it was half an aisle. I'm thinking that if any of you want them, as long as there aren't double digits of them in the aisles, pick them up now.
