Okay, looks a lot better than the last shots. Still has kind of a Rumer Willis chin going on, though.

I saw that too. Gives me hope that the movie figures will be decent. When you're dealing with likenesses it gets tricky especially if the actors have approval. And if Hasbro is using the same scanning technology they used for the Wizard "be a Joe" figures then it gets that much easier to make them look good.

the glasses make a world of difference 8-O

geez i had to take a double just to make sure that was an action figure. Granted the posing and photography have to be top notch but still.

I was satisfied with the smuggler pics but this is really special looking. Has that great Baroness feel, and ditto for that actress from the movie feel.

I dig it based on teh pics though the real test is when a collector gets his hands on it and snaps away a little.

Hopefully she will come with a long black trench coat.

I think it hits tomorrow (Wednesday).

I was holding judgement on this figure because all we've gotten are blurry pics in someone's bathroom...these more professional shots make a world of difference, especially with the glasses. Looks great.

Darn it's too bad I'd have to drive 40 miles to a book store and 40 miles back just to pick up an issue. The Baroness looks better than the leaked photo so I'm wondering how the rest of the figures the cover claims will look.

Maybe at least this means Hasbro is getting closer to releasing official pictures on some of the web sites now.

and people wonder why Hasbro and other companies don't like leaked pics of their prduct. :rotfl:

everyone was ready to throw the line to the wolves with the last pics, now it's "best Baroness figure... EVAR" kinda funny if you ask me.

Problem is that the Baroness on the cover of Toyfare looks to be a prototype...possibly a resin sculpt. What's been shown through bootleg channels is the actual Toy....and it's well known how much changes between the hand sculpted, hand painted Prototype and the final production figure.

I'd be more worried about Hasbro's famous air-brushings (...ask the TF community...) than this being a prototype. They have a way of working photoshop magic on their released images to make them look a lot better than they are.
