The fact it's a Cobra La figure makes me avoid it. A reminder of one of the most idiotic bits of storytelling to ever be used in the franchise.

So true. It's the first comic pack from the 25th line I don't have, although I do want the Falcon. Anytime I've even seen this pack though, it's always Nemesis and some random figure that's been switched out. I think those that actually like Cobra-La are a very vocal minority.

I never really liked Cobra-La, but I have to admit I really dig Nemmy. I think it's just because of the elbow sharks and wings.

One thing I noticed when reading the Ultimate Guide to GI Joe...
I think the tentacle thing is actually his weapon, not a part of him.
The guide says that Nemesis could attach it to an enemy's back
and the tentacles could capture the enemy...

In a way, that makes more sense than having him switch out
wings and tentacles or have both with no way to attach both
out of the package.

I always thought it was supposed to be like those spores Pythona used on the troops.

I got another Nemesis and, once again, it was very difficult to attach the wings. So tough in fact, that there's now a small tear in one of the wing joints :verymad:

I eventually had to use a retractable pen to push the wings into place. I had to use so much force that it warped the plastic around the pen hole, rendering the pen unusable. 8-O

I ditched the wings and tentacles and stashed him behind my Dreadnoks....

They always did need more muscle

I've had no problems with this figure.
Except for the fact that it's Nemesis Enforcer. :rotfl:
