I'm not a big fan of animal companions and all, but kiddo wanted a Timber to go with his SE (he has the 5 pack version). So I took the Timber from the DVD pack and fixed it's horrendous paint job. I used a pic from a book about wolves kiddo has for a guide. Loved painting this! :)

That's pretty good yes. Almost makes me want to try to do similar with '85 Timber.

Wow, very much the awesome change!

I've studied captive packs for over six years in the long ago, and that change really nailed their look. Awesome Mac.

Amazing paint apps! It's incredible the figures that are hidden underneath the basic molds Hasbro provides us with.Great job,I'm sure kiddo will be impressed.

That's really true...it's amazing the terrible factory paint jobs that cover up great stuff!

I was looking at this again, and more closely looking at the eyes - you added that tiny white spot on each eye, right?

That looks great IMO. And the beast looks much more detailed with your paintjob, I really like it!

:) Yes I did. I'm obsessed with eyes. If I'm painting a face the eyes have to have eyelashes, a pupil and iris, even if you can't discern them individually because it's so small. They also have to have that little tiny white dot where light reflects off the eyeball. ;) I'm sure there's a medical term for this kind of obsessive behavior...
