I'm just glad the BNB line is doing well. Bekker was telling me he spotted an in-scale ring for them too- comes with two figures as well.

At the very least, we will get a head that can be used. Sounds great though. I love the WWE figs and I don't even watch wrasslin'!

I can neither confirm or deny any LBCing of said character for an Oktober Guard custom.

This is great news! Only bad thing is all I can find around me is wave 1 and 2, very little of wave 3 lasted long and all Wal-Mart is re-stocking with is waves 1 and 2. I have not found wave 4 or 5 yet.

Kofi Kingston AND Santino?! EPIC WIN!

Also Sarge.

Also, yes JAKKs loses the license at the end of 2009 and Mattel picks it up in 2010.

I'm glad I'm not the only person excited by a Kofi figure. I saw one of his first matches in the WWE at a house show and I loved the guy right away. I know there's a ton of stupid stuff going on in wrestling these days, but Kofi is just fun to watch.

I'll definitely be picking up the Sgt. Slaughter. CM Punk is the only BNB figure I have and I got that as a gift, but Kofi and Slaughter will be worth the money.

I can't wait for this one. Since he seems to be the "classic" wrestler in this wave I'm hoping he will be in his older wrestling attire. Really I'd be happy with any version of him.

I haven't gotten any BNB figures yet but I will get all the classic ones, starting with the first-Razor Ramone.

JAKKs doesn't have tooling for female figures with the added articulation. So they probably won't ever be released in 3 3/4.

I've sort of given up on the BNB line because while the figures look great and are superbly detailed, they're assembled so poorly that there's inevitably at least one and generally more than one REALLY loose point of articulation. The CM Punk I picked up might as well have been a marionette. It's a shame, because they're really great looking figures, and the line has been a good "jumping on" point for those who were too overwhelmed by the larger-scale line to figure it out. But I just got sick of this problem cropping up all the time.

I will say this -- those upcoming assortments, both characters and accessories, sound very impressive. And a BNB Sgt. Slaughter should probably be just about to scale with the 25th-style G.I.Joes, so that's going to work out very well for current collectors.

As for Mattel, my biggest concern is that I hope they don't de-emphasize their other lines when they start in with WWE. I'm looking forward to adding to both my Masters of the Universe Classics and DC Universe Classics line for a long time to come. Granted there have been a few problems with DCUC which I have addressed elsewhere. It's still a superior super-hero line with tons of potential. Provided proper attention is paid. I also have great hopes for the Masters. Compared to those two, WWE is a potential distraction in my opinion.
