Great, now I gotta race "The Man" there, :)

I didn't know they had so many civilian vehicles, wow.

When did they make a space shuttle?

The shuttle is actually quite old. I remember it in '99, maybe a bit before that.

Dang it! Every year, I say I'm going to go to this, and every year, I forget about it and have my schedule too booked to take a weekend to do it. I'm smack in the middle of MO, so that's maybe 3 hours for me. Next year for sure!
Anyway, nice haul. I've always liked the Lanard offerings, and really like working the vehicles into my Joe-verse.

Why can't I find those toys at stores near me?
I'd love to get a fire engine and construction trucks. I only saw the fire engine at smalljoes, and I missed it. I never saw their police station wagon or hummer.
I have their civilian ambulance and its great.

That's a great haul. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the haul! That looked like an awesome trip. I like that Sky Raptor too. Has some really nice army building and\or customizing potential too.

Once that Sky Raptor comes out, I am getting a few to apply custom paint jobs to.
My only concern is that it is one of their build-a-kits, which while a lot of fun, often feel sort of "cheap" in construction once in hand.

I manged to get quite a few things I have missed over the years and wanted since, if I were to go back next year, I doubt my haul would be as large.

Old school!!! :-)

Had no idea Lanard had a store, or that they offered such classic pieces at very reasonable prices. That does sound almost road trip worthy. As many of those Justins, Lars's, and Full Proofs as I collected back in the day, I would still pick up several more sets of the grey 3-packs.

I still have a lot of that old packaging!

That space capsule is great. I got one of those a few years ago from Smalljoes and it looks particularly well with the bright green Star Brigade General Hawk in it.

That launch tower is AMAZING. Boy would I love to have one of those.

Lucky dog!

You are AWESOME Dude -

That place is like that dream I always have of walking into a warehouse of vintage Joes....

There's some old CORPS! which I regret opening cause I liked the card display - so I would love to get some of those.

Thanks for sharing!

Sugar Creek is a suburb of Kansas City, just FYI.

And I lived in the KC area my whole life (til I moved out west this past spring) and never knew Lanard was based there. What the hell?! Had I known I could have been the hook-up. Dammit.

Oh well, gives me a reason to go home next Christmas. Thanks for sharing the adventure with us. Very cool.

Good Lord, man! Nice haul -- impressive set-up in that store, too! WOW!

Alas, I am too far away, lack the transportation, and don't have much in the way of discretionary funds, but it'd be fun to visit. :-D

I'd love to go there too just to look around.

Congrats on the hauls!

The Corps didn't really sell around here so they took them off the market :-/ I missed the two small HQ & supply depot playsets (the ones with a map on the wall, & a radio on the table, IIRC)

Now don't you just wish Hasbro did the same for Joes? Imagine walking into a store filled entirely with Joes! 8-O

They should set up a web site to order on-line. I can't stand not being able to get some of these items. I know there are many I would like to get myself, but can't find that stuff anywhere in my area. And Wal-Mart only has the new 3-pack of the figures and a few vehicles. I would have looked just like you, if I where there ;-).
