My first Sigma 6 custom had to be Canada's own Back-Stop. Customs at this scale can be scary because of how expensive these figures are. And since Montreal has received so few waves of the line, my local stores never discount them. So I either buy them cheap from friends and E-Bay, and then suffer the shipping, or I pay full price locally.

In this case, I lucked out. I bought the Night Ranger Quad because I liked the vehicle. The Duke packaged with it went straight to a drawer since I already had Jet Wing Duke. However, I soon saw a lot of potential in the helmet and knife from that set. The helmet was shaped almost exactly like Back-Stop's. And the knife had a plug in it, so I could fit it sideways on his torso, again like Back-Stop. All I needed was a set of pistols, Back-Stop's weapon of choice.

A month or so later, I got an e-mail from THE Mike. He'd bought a lot of Sigma Six figures and wanted to know if I was interested in his spares. As it happened, he has Sea Ops Duke in that lot, which had a webgear that holstered two pistols. I bought it off Mike, picked it up at his BBQ, and had all my elements.

Aw, where's the yellow pants? Good figure, even though you completely betrayed the original design.

Since most of the Sigma Characters don't look like their 3 3/4 counterparts IMO. I think you did a pretty good job. The mix and placement of parts works real well.

Looks good...if a little plain. Not sure if bright yellow pants would truley suit your custom...but I'd love to see them...or at least yellow highlights on the legs and boots.

I've not kept up on all the S6 releases...but I think some extra upper chest/bicept armor would be the only other thing I'd like to see you add.

Nice work, although it just doesn't seem like Backstop without the right color pants.

Given that the S6 figures are bulkier and not exactly proportioned right, I would have thought somebody would have by now done some Battle Force 2000 or a Mirage in the S6 scale...

He's certainly not getting yellow pants, but yellow highlights are an option.
